The clam chowder, cole slaw, fish and chips, side salad and bisquits were good. The shrimp were tasteless. The hush puppies were not like any kind of hush puppies I have ever had, with what looked like bread dough inside, instead of corn meal. The fish (light portion) was only one piece of fish. The "side" of coleslaw was literally served in a condiment cup the same size as the ketchup came in, maybe two forkfuls. For 17.99 I would expect one more piece of fish and more coleslaw. (Maybe I am expecting too much?) Our waiter was excellent, no complaints there at all. They were on top of things and pleasant, even enthusiastic, despite the fact that they had a lot of people they were taking care of. I'm thinking we won't be back again. Mostly because the person in our party that decided we would go there chose Red Lobster for the shrimp.

Why I keep giving Red Lobster a second chance is baffling? I was excited to see the "Endless Shrimp" once again and had to go back. And again, disappointed. I started with popcorn shrimp (big mistake). They were so over breaded and some of the shrimp still had their hulls. I individually shredded the breading off and ate the shrimp. There was an adequate amount so that was a wash. Then I ordered shrimp scampi. Thankfully they were very good. By this time, I was so full of breading I couldn't eat anymore. My side was jasmine rice which came out room temperature. My wife hates seafood and orders a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. The chicken looked raw with a few scorch burns to give it some color. She also thought there was too much salt in the dressing but I had to disagree. She sent it back. The service was excellent, the famous rolls looked smaller but tasted the same and plenty of them. I'm old enough to remember when "General Mills" owned Red Lobster in its heyday. There were always lines out the door and great drink specials for everyone. The restaurant buzzed with excitement. Today's Red Lobster is simply "boring:" Turnover is rampant and the atmosphere is stale. Sorry RL, this old man is done with you!

While the fried flounder was good. I was very surprised that the ONLY baked or broiled fish they had was Salmon. They used to have more selections on baked fish which was very disappointing. Stuffed Flounder would have been awesome. The crab stuffed mushrooms with lobster sauce not worth what you are paying. 5$ each and you get 4.Sauce was not much. I am not a fan of fried but as I stated the Flounder was very tasty and you got a lot!!

I found the decor dark and gloomy. The service was not great either. I felt we had to wait too long for someone to take our order. The food was average. It's such a shame because I was really looking forward to eating there in Toronto. p.s the cheddar biscuits were nice.

We were seated at a table and waited for 10 minutes. No one took our drink order or came to our table. I got up to ask if anyone was going to wait on us; no one came to our table. I waited 5 more minutes and got up and talked to one of the waiters. I explained what was going on and he immediately waited on us. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager came to our table and apologized for the inconvenience. The place was almost empty and I let him know there was no reason to make us wait. He agreed and offered us an entry. The place was about 90% empty and several workers were present. I don't understand the reason for the lack of service. We will not be going back to Red Lobster. If it wasn't for the young man that jumped up to wait on us, we would have walked out and gone next door.

First off, I want to say the service at the Hot Springs Arkansas shop was excellent. As a group of nine. We were celebrating a wedding anniversary. Prices were as expected in the current inflationary economy. Everyone, other than myself seemed happy with their meals. Unfortunately, I apparently ordered the WORST thing on the menu: fish & chips. A fairly simple meal, well prepared in some of the most common places. Not here. One piece of some sort of white fish, covered in so much batter, it took 3 bites to get to the fish. The fries were, in a word, awful. Probably frozen & heated in the oven. ANY fast food place out there on their worst day were far superior. Coleslaw probably came from Sam's or Walmart & way too sweet. The cheese biscuits? Usually my favorite. Flat, way too salty, &not enough cheese. I would recommend this shop, but NOT, NEVER, the fish & chips.

The food was just good, service was okay but I expected to be blown away after soo much hype from a friend which was not the case thereby 3star.

Been goin to red lobster since they opened in staunton.va. my mom's FAVORITE restaurant. Well I got got lobster linguini. I always get the crab unless lobsterfest. 28$ I have been sick for 3 wks so I was starving cravin Alfredo got home opened it smelt great looked great I'm thinkin look at ALL this goodness. Took a bite & was like w. Thinkin it was lots of lobsters it was tomatoes so u fooled thinking lots well please change name to tomatoe linguini that's all I could taste. Thanks for takin my favorite there & ruinin it. Know u need to make money. But eatin there is a treat. (Because of ur highcosts) so SAD !!! U just made me bein sick to bein 😠 I will make my own Alfredo from now on I will wait till summer for my tomatoes.. Oh good news the people workin staunton red l WONDERFUL I hold it against corp not them. Take ur tomatoes & shuv. Oh salad not included for 28 $ now. U really suck!!!!$!
