I have been part of Redefining Strength for over 4 years between the Dynamic Strength app and 1:1 coaching. I recently entered the Inner Circle and completed another round of 1:1 coaching. This time in the 1:1 coaching, I was not focused on weight loss or strength gains. It was suggested to me since I was having an issue after completing a 5K that left me out of commission for longer than I liked. I was teamed up with coach Leigh Comerci and after she evaluated my videos that I submitted, we got down to work. So showed me where I had some form issues that were not helping me and once we got that corrected the magic happened. I was feeling stronger and my injuries faded away. My recreational running is back and that means the world to me. You don’t always need to have weight loss goals or massive strength goals to benefit from 1:1 coaching. I know when I feel things fall out of line again I will be looking to 1:1 coaching for the tune-up that I need. Thanks again to RS for taking to me to the next level I wanted.

I cannot recommend Coach Kristy highly enough. Deciding to join the coaching program during a period of massive "planned chaos" in my personal life was the absolute best decision I could have made. Kristy was a major part of my support system as she kept my head (and health) above water during a crisis. Before starting coaching, my family was facing a major, prolonged health crisis. In the past, this level of chronic stress always resulted in severe weight and muscle loss, injury, and total physical burnout for me. My goal for coaching wasn't even aesthetic—it was pure health preservation and survival. Kristy delivered exactly what I needed. She met me with deep empathy and incredible strategic flexibility: Crisis Management: She immediately softened boundaries, shifting my macros to make eating realistic and keeping workouts completely doable. This completely broke my historic cycle of stress-induced physical decline. Unwavering Support: When the aftermath of the crisis triggered an unexpectedly dark and difficult emotional season for my family, Kristy’s weekly check-ins became my anchor. She constantly adjusted the plan to match my emotional and physical capacity. Her belief in me was the only reason I kept showing up for myself on the darkest days. Dietary Transitions: When I had to suddenly overhaul my family’s diet to a specialized, anti-inflammatory model, she swooped in with custom recipes and plan tweaks. Her recipes were a massive hit and prevented a total family dinner revolt. Deep Health & Gut Problem-Solving: When severe digestive issues unexpectedly hit due to my nervous system crashing from prolonged stress, Kristy guided me through an elimination protocol. She provided high-level resources on gut sensitivities and food additives that sparked my own curiosity and fast-tracked my recovery. Kristy taught me that a fitness and nutrition plan must be fluid to be sustainable. I am finishing my time with her not just with deep gratitude, but with an entirely new standard for my nutrition, new holistic recovery habits (like breathwork and nervous system regulation), and the confidence to manage my health independently. If you are looking for a coach who understands that life isn't lived in a vacuum, and who can coach you through the trenches of real life while protecting your health, ask for Kristy. She is a master of her craft.

Having an amazing coach like Allison. There is nothing like doing this with a coach by your side every step of the way. Celebrating wins, motivating, and continually teaching. Allison is a great coach and also a very caring and compassionate person. That all makes me stick to my workouts, my macros, and my emotional well being. I have gone from 123lb and 28.8% menopause 52 year old female to 103lb and 16% bodyfat in about 16 weeks. Muscles and veins are popping and I have my young, fit body again. I love all the variety of exercises in this program and the educational content. I have been working in the Fitness industry for 37 years and have still learned more an more from the program. Mahalo nui loa to my coach Allison as well as Cori and the Redefining Strength program.

As someone who has exercised throughout life, I was very upset when weight started to pile up in my late 40s. I was still running my usual ~20-30 miles a week, doing half marathons, doing the occasional strength training program, and staying very active, but clearly that wasn't working out anymore. I had followed Redefining Strength on IG for a while, and after reading many reviews of it (and other programs, including reviews here), last August I reached out. I will not lie, the cost seemed excessive, but what I have found is that it has been worth it for me. I often joke that the one thing that keeps me honest and on it is the amount of money I spent but it has not disappointed. I got paired with an amazing coach who takes the time to explain various concepts to me (including the concept of additional rest!), and when I have had nutrition questions related to pre-diabetes, she immediately connects me with the nutritionist of the program to make adjustments. I particularly appreciate that she sends me videos of technique (and asks for videos of my own movement so she can give me pointers). The food tracking via MyFitnessPal scared me at first; seemed too cumbersome, but once I got past the initial stage, it really has become something I don't even think about as an "extra". Learning the importance of protein (which I was barely eating!), and how to have my own meals that my family and I enjoy just with different portions of things has been great; to me this has been one of the most valuable things of the program. The other valuable thing for me is having a tailored strength program that is updated every ~3-5 weeks depending on how my progress is going. In the first 8 months I lost ~20 pounds, and have spent the last few months working on learning maintenance while also adding more running. I have gotten stronger when lifting, can see muscle definition (I have done various sets of progress photos and to see the change there is amazing), and I can tell it's made my running and paddling better. I very much appreciate the emphasis on mobility and stretching before and after every strength workout.I highly recommend!

RS has been a game changer for me! I highly recommend 1x1 coaching for those that not only want to lose weight and get stronger and healthier, but for those that truly want to embrace mindset work on why they are doing the things they are doing that make them go back to where they started. That is where the magic happens! I have learned that all of the eating healthy and exercise in the world may temporarily get you to your weight goal, but if you don't dig in and find out why you can't keep your healthy goals in the long run, then you will keep running in that vicious circle. The mindset work and the personal coach are KEY! And yes, it is expensive. And it was worth every penny! Coach Rebecca has been a blessing in my life, is creative, and really teaches me and guides me into thinking through my challenges in a different way. So thankful for her! I highly recommend RS 1x1 coaching, butt you have to go in to it ready to do the hard work. 💪

I can’t say enough wonderful things about my coach, Melissa and Redefining Strength! The workouts are the best I’ve ever experienced—personalized to my goals and abilities. I’m 67 and I am WAY stronger today than any other time in my life, even though I’ve been weight training for 15 years! I’ve already reached one of my personal strength goals, and I’m excited to see what comes next. What has surprised me most, though, is how much this journey has changed my mindset. The confidence and perspective I’ve gained are spilling over into other areas of my life, and that has been an incredible gift. Hard things are still hard, but I find myself much better equipped to face challenges that in the past lead me to quit and start over. Redefining Strength is so much more than workouts. There is ongoing education, supportive community, nutrition resources, weekly talks with knowledgeable nutritionists, and constantly updated recipes. This is a great program for someone who needs education, accountability, and support to make lasting changes in their health and fitness. Instant gratification seekers need not apply. Regarding my coach, Melissa is kind, direct, INCREDIBLY knowledgeable, and very accessible. Her programming is 🔥I receive daily messages and motivational or instructional videos from her and am invited to speak directly to her on a weekly basis. I truly feel that she (and RS) is dedicated to helping each person create the fitness journey of their dreams.

Finally … something I find it can stick to with the right expertise and experience. After struggling through peri menopause, I gained unwanted (and undeserved) weight and some unfamiliar confidence problems. My body on the outside didn’t match how I felt on the inside. I was hesitant to commit to any one program … both with the time and the money. Man … am I glad I committed to RS! Cori’s no BS approach to functional, life-long fitness is refreshing, and her philosophy of building IN your lifestyle and meeting yourself where you ARE is game-changing for me. Plus, she makes me laugh as a real person trying to do … well … all of this, too. Rebecca, my coach, is encouraging and supportive, but most of all … she knows her sh*t. She also lives this lifestyle and walks the talk. I SO respect how she’s shown up for me time and time again … especially when I normally would have given up on myself from disappointment. Keep rockin it, team!
