Great acoustics. Sounds are cleaner and louder, more easily distinguished from background noise. I'm actually a bit surprised how much more clearly this instrument delivers sound. I was expecting a modest improvement. Using pressure gradients to optimize for the type of sounds you are focusing on, I'd estimate there is an almost 30% improvement vs the next-down model. The increase in weight is noticeable but not irritating. I listened to a friends' electronically amplified stethoscope, and we both agree that mine is better- no amplification of background noise, only a much better reveal of the sounds you are listening for.

I purchased a Littmann stethescope as a gift for my son. I had it engraved in 2 places. I figured I would'nt get it for a week or so, because of the engraving, but it was shipped out the next day. I couldn't have been any more pleased.

I ordered a Littman stethoscope from Redding Medical and I was amazed at how fast it was delivered. The stethoscope is awesome and I am very satisfied with my order. Redding Medical also offered the stethoscope for a fair price compared to other competitors.

I have used Redding medical for years. I bought a Welch Alleyn BP monitor for my husband. A goodbye present (stethoscope) for a colleague who was entering nursing school and my Cardiology III"s. This is my 2nd or 3rd Littman, I had one stolen (sigh). They have always had a quick turn around and when I didn't fill out the font for engraving properly, I received a phone call the very next day. Outstanding business to deal with. As long as they continue to provide such good customer service, I will continue to patronize this business.

I spent over $200 on these shoes, within the first 10 minutes I slipped in a patients bathroom, sent an email requesting my money back as they are not as described, have not received it as yet. Don't buy as customer service are not there to help, they just take your money and say bad luck!!!!!!!
