THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY FAST
"This so-called 'RedBox Rx' is a straight-up scam and a total disgrace. I signed up thinking I'd get quick, convenient online doctor help—yeah, right. These crooks snatched $70 straight out of my account the second I hit submit, then ghosted me completely. Zero response, no doctor, no consultation, no treatment, NOTHING. It's been two full days of me blowing up their chat/email/support with crickets in return, and they're still jerking me around on a refund like it's some kind of joke. They pounce on your money like vultures and then vanish when you actually need service. Absolute trash operation preying on people who just want basic help. DO NOT TOUCH THIS WEBSITE with a ten-foot pole—save your cash and your sanity, and run to literally any other telehealth service that isn't run by con artists. RedBox Rx deserves to be shut down."

Thank you for your honest feedback. I'm sorry we made you feel like we didn't want to help you. Our service is a little different from other services that charge you a monthly subscription fee. We only charge you if you receive a service, so if you don't need to speak to a provider you are not charged anything. This gives more control to our patients, and they don't have to worry about being charged a subscription fee even if they don't receive any services that month. You will only see a fee if you initiate a consultation with a provider or are shipped medication.
If you did not receive a prescription, the reasoning is listed in the visit notes through your account. Our policy is to refund a patient's visit fee if you were not prescribed treatment. In some cases, certain questions in the assessment are answered in a way that indicates we most likely will not be able to treat you safely through our services. We provide that notice before you pay and schedule your appointment because we certainly don't want to have patients pay for a service if we can't help. We also don't want to delay treatment by having you wait to complete a video consultation with our providers knowing it is unlikely they will prescribe treatment. You may continue past that notification and schedule a visit if you'd still like to meet with one of our providers. We understand that our service may not be right for everyone, but we believe that we can help many receive access to affordable, quality healthcare that might not receive it otherwise.
We would kindly encourage you to reach out to our Patient Care Advocates at either 844-733-2697 or [email protected] so that we can assist you. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to improve your experience.

I just got charged and tried to cancel…
I just got charged and tried to cancel before they shipped and they wouldn't let me. Mind you, this was just a couple of hours after I saw the email came through for the charge and the product had not yet shipped. They told me there was nothing they could do.
In response to the response from Redbox below, I DID CALL IN and was told NOTHING COULD BE DONE. So now I have over $200 of stuff I don't use. Thanks.

Horrible second appointment.
My first provider was great. The fundamental issue with the service is that you do not see the same provider each time. The second provider I saw was enormously rude and insinuated multiple times that I was lying about my symptoms. Her name was "Dr. Kimberly." Horrific experience, rude, dismissive, and spoke exceptionally fast. Very clear she was just trying to pick up a quick paycheck and move on. If you get a good provider, great. But you better hope that you don't get a horrific one the next appointment.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry for the frustration you went through while trying to receive care through our service at RedBox Rx. We expect each and every one of our providers to give the same level of service and professionalism, especially when we cannot guarantee you will get the same provider each time you use our service. If you have not already done so, please reach out to our Patient Care Advocates at either 844-733-2697 or [email protected], so we can further discuss what happened during your visit. The experience you describe is not what we expect of our providers, and we want to ensure that it doesn't happen to you again or anyone else in the future. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to improve your experience.

Avoid
What initially appears convenient quickly turns into a price-gouging tactic.
After the first visit and consultation, I was required to pay for four separate consultation visits in less than a year. One initial visit, another after 30 days, then a dose increase to 2 mg, which triggered two more paid visits.
I later discovered that the medication (Guanfacine) costs about $5 through my insurance at a regular pharmacy, compared to $75 for a 90-day supply through this service. On top of that, they charge an additional fee just to send the prescription to an outside pharmacy.
I reluctantly paid this fee once more after being told that following the 90-day review, the prescription could be sent to Walgreens without additional charges. That turned out to be false. They demanded the same fee again.
At this point, it is clear this is not about patient care or convenience, but about extracting recurring fees. You are far better off getting an Amazon Teladoc subscription or using a standard provider.
This service is unnecessary and functions primarily as a money grab.

We’re sorry to hear about your concerns and appreciate the opportunity to address them Frank.
Our service is a little different from other services that charge you a monthly subscription fee. We only charge you if you receive a medication or a service. This gives more control to our patients, and they don't have to worry about being charged a subscription fee even if they don't receive any services that month. You will only see a fee if you initiate a consultation with a provider or are shipped medication. We offer many different treatment plans, and many of those plans include automatic refills. In those cases, you would not need another evaluation unless you run out of refills or need to consult with your provider for another reason. Depending on the treatment, you can select either a 30-day supply or a 90-day supply of medication, with or without refills. Depending on the days’ supply of medication you choose at the start of our questionnaire, you may be able to get a one month, three month, six month, or a year’s worth of medication. This way, you would not have to pay for a provider visit every time you need an additional fill of medication. You can also find that information on our website (along with the pricing for those options) under the condition you wish to treat through our services.
For our patients who wish to use our pharmacy, we offer a discount on the provider visit fee. If you choose not to use our pharmacy, we do charge the full provider visit, but you are able to use your insurance to help with the cost of the prescription at your local pharmacy. We understand that our service may not be right for everyone, but we believe that we can help many receive access to affordable, quality healthcare that might not receive it otherwise. Many of our patients do not have prescription insurance coverage or have high deductible plans. Our visit fees and prescriptions costs are often less than typical insurance copays. While our prices vary by condition, we are focused on keeping prices as affordable as possible for our patients. If you have any further questions or any lingering concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Patient Care Advocates at 844-733-2697. Our goal is to ensure you receive the care and service you need.

I'm not sure the drug I got was real
I'm not sure the drug I got was real. It has always helped me sleep in the past but the one I received from redbox has not helped even the slightest bit. I probably slept 2 hours. With the CVS drug I was asleep within 30 minutes. Very suspicious. And I have taken 3 instead of the 1 or 2 I usually take.
Response from RedBox RxJan 20, 2026
Thank you for your feedback Lisa. Our pharmacy dispenses only FDA-approved medications to ensure safety and effectiveness. Since individual responses to medication can vary, we encourage you to reach out to your provider to discuss your concerns and explore potential adjustments to your treatment plan. If you need assistance, our Patient Care Advocates are available at 844-733-2697 to help guide you through your next steps. Your health and satisfaction are important to us and we're here to support you.

I am very disappointed with the…
I am very disappointed with the customer service I received from a supervisor named Rachel. After an initial agent spoke to me in a dismissive and unprofessional manner regarding my address, I was transferred to her for assistance.
Rachel acted as though handling my call was an inconvenience and provided no clear explanation of the process for adding my unit number to my address—a simple request that ultimately took over 30 minutes and required me to contact the carrier directly. She repeatedly stated that the only option was for the order to be returned to sender, despite the fact that the shipping label had not yet been created. She did not suggest contacting the carrier or offer any alternative solutions.
Most concerning, I later learned from the carrier that my address had in fact been updated. Rachel simply did not inform me of this and instead continued to insist that the order was “processing” and could not be accessed, which caused unnecessary stress and confusion.
This interaction lacked transparency, empathy, and professionalism. I have recordings of the calls for my records (1/6/2026 at approximately 12:03 PM and 12:38 PM), which I encourage RedBox Rx to review.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations Seren. Your feedback is valuable, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
When we receive a prescription from the provider after a visit has been completed, our goal is to process that order and get it shipped out to you in 24 hours or less. We set this goal in order prevent any delays in your treatment. Due to the speed of this turnaround, it is very important to ensure that all the information submitted in the questionnaire is accurate and complete, especially the shipping address if you choose to use our pharmacy. Once a prescription has been processed, and is being prepped for shipment, it is not always possible to stop the process to update or correct an address. If we receive notice soon enough, we can sometimes get the address updated, but we cannot guarantee that. Generally we ask for a profile update request to use for an address update, but in the case of urgent requests, we can provide assistance over the phone, though we need to verify the address through the USPS to make sure no information is missing and that the address is valid. In the cases, where we are not able to pause the shipping process, we recommend you reach out to the USPS to set up a mail forward with them if that is not already in place.
After reviewing your case, I see that both the Patient Care Advocates you spoke with attempted to assist you and direct you on the quickest course to get your prescription(s) in a timely manner. We apologize for any confusion or if we misspoke at any point in the call, but our Patient Care Advocates did their best to assist you and take the proper steps to make sure you received your order in the timeliest manner per our protocol. If you have any other questions or concerns you wish to discuss, please feel free to reach out again to our team at either 844-733-2697 or at [email protected]. We thank you again for your feedback and for the opportunity to assist you.

Shipping time is insane but the price…
Shipping time is insane but the price is reasonable. I needed meds for an infection and it will not be here for 7 days. I had no idea how long the shipping took until I paid and it was ordered
If you need something now don't risk it
Response from RedBox RxDec 22, 2025
We understand your frustration and appreciate you reaching out Michelle.
While we understand how important timely service is to all of our patients, a very busy shipping holiday season is upon us so some delays, while regrettable, can occur during this time.
Shipping by USPS Ground Advantage is always included at no additional charge and is our default shipping method. We do offer several expedited shipping options through UPS in order to get your prescription to you much more quickly. Please see our Shipping Section on our website redboxrx.com for all of our shipping options.
The fastest option to get your prescription is to have it sent to a local pharmacy of your choice. You can choose this option at the very beginning of the questionnaire you fill out at the start of a visit. Though we do charge the full visit fee when you choose not to use our pharmacy, this method should get you your prescription in the timeliest manner possible.
If you need further assistance or have any additional questions we can answer, please reach out to our Patient Care Advocates at 844-733-2697. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to assist you.
