Absolutely a scam. I had an online consultation, rx written and paid before before noon. Per their website, it should have shipped the same day. Fast forward several days, multiple attempts to get support and they literally do not respond. The only recourse is to file a charge back through my bank. So I shared my medical history with a "doctor" for the benefit of having to do extra paperwork to get back what Redbox stole from me. It's not worth their self professed "convenience".

Horrible customer service + indefinitely delayed shipment = hard pass
I placed an order and submitted my survey on Jan 7th, they said it was approved and processing for shipping the next day. On January 16th I reached out to them because nothing had arrived and I hadn't received shipping details. It took them two full business days to respond to that and the email I received back was literally blank.
I finally heard back from someone who said "Unfortunately, the strength of your medication has not had a stable supply. This has resulted in a delay in shipping your prescription to you. Our pharmacy is actively trying to order daily but at this time we have not been able to process your prescription. We are expecting a shipment soon. Please know that we will process and ship your order as soon as we receive supply."
They already charged me for both the visit and the prescription, but can't tell me when it will ship. My next 'autofill' is scheduled in another two weeks and my original hasn't even shipped out yet. Their team is unresponsive. I asked them to cancel my shipment and refund me but have not heard back, so I'll probably have to file for a chargeback with my bank. Ridiculously horrible customer service.

Hello Charlotte. I want to apologize for the experience you have had. Sometimes shipments are delayed due to manufacturer shortages. I'm sorry you were not notified that was the case. While we try to respond to emails in the order received (typically within 48 hours), we are happy to assist you immediately via phone. We can be reached at 844-733-2697, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm CST and weekends 11am to 3pm CST. If you have not received your prescription or refund, please give us a call. We are happy to help.

You really have to chase down your prescription..
Usually they're great, but lately RedBoxrx has been a NIGHTMARE to deal with. I never write bad reviews, but feel the need to warn others who are relying on important prescriptions-especially mental health related ones. My first prescription was marked as 'delivered' but I never received it. Redbox made me pay for a second prescription. The second one never shipped. I called 5 days later and they FINALLY let me know they were out of my pills. Sure would have been nice to know a week earlier without having to send 3+ emails and multiple phone calls. This caused me to completely withdraw from my mental health medication, which is not only dangerous, but completely affected my ability to work and gave me some horrible side effects. I was finally able to reach their customer service and they tried to charge me ANOTHER $70 to have my prescription transferred over to my local pharmacy. Keep in mind I'd already paid an EXTRA $30 for a second prescription since the first had been lost. Luckily, they waved the fee once I let them know it was unacceptable I'd be getting charged yet another fee for transferring my prescription, when it was their fault they were out of stock in the first place. This was a total time-sucking nightmare. Please beware that if you are looking for a reliable way to get medication, this might not be the best place to get it. Unfortunate, because I do appreciate what they're trying to do to make medication accessible and affordable. Hopefully they get it together!

Thank you for providing your honest feedback Sky. Like other pharmacies, we are occasionally effected by medication shortages or back orders. If you have not received a shipping notification within 48 hours after your purchase, please reach out to our patient care team. They will do whatever they can do get you an alternative treatment if needed until we are able to ship yours. We are also working on a better notification system when orders may be delayed so you will have that information without contacting us.

Dr didn't bother to cancel my appt
I sat in the video link for my appointment for 20 minutes with no response. I called their support line and was told I needed to be seen by an in person Dr. Since I took Depakote over 20 years ago! Now I am having to go through an entire process to receive a refund.

I'm sorry you had to reach out to our provider support team to learn that. Our policy is if your provider is not able to prescribe any treatment for you, your visit fee will be refunded. All you need to do is reach out to our patient care advocates at 844-733-2697 or by email at [email protected] and we will be happy to process the refund right away.

Absolutely scam
Absolutely scam
The prescribing healthcare person will never speak to you! They hire phone operators who have zero knowledge.. you will be prescribed .25% strength Tretinoin which isn’t strong enough for any individual! They cut the strength in 3/4 of what I’ve been using. So they want me to use 1/4 of the strength I’ve used. You can’t speak to the nurse practitioner EVER!! My dermatologist ordered what I needed and said everyone complains about Redboxrx
Response from RedBox RxJan 20, 2024
Thank you for the additional feedback Lena. Many of our evaluations do not require a video visit. You simply answer some questions regarding your medical history and the condition you are seeking treatment for and a provider reviews your information and prescribes medication as long as it is appropriate. We allow you to select the treatment you prefer and that is passed along to your provider to consider, but it isn't always appropriate. Many patients find this type of evaluation to be more convenient than having a scheduled video visit. If you still want to complete a consultation by video with a provider we do offer the "talk to a provider" feature on the visits tab of your account.

RED BOX RX takes your money and doesn’t send meds
The process seemed so easy that I should’ve known it was too good to be true. At the very first fill of my prescription they charged me, and then I never heard from them again. I was approaching the start of a new job and starting to panic as I have ADHD and was trying a non-stimulant for the first time, Atomoxetine (Generic Strattera®). After about a week and a half of waiting, and my new job start date fast approaching, I finally called to be told that it was on backorder. They claimed they emailed me, but I checked all of my inboxes, including spam, and I had never received an email for them. They asked me if I wanted them to send it to my pharmacy and I said yes. Then, miraculously they were able to fill it on that same day. Then on 1/7/24 they automatically debited my account $30 for my refill. I realized on 1/15/24 that I only had two days of meds left, and I had never received my refill. So in a panic I emailed them looking for my medicine. I never got a response so I called on 1/16/24 to look for my medicine and mentioned I had emailed them and the representative said that she would look for the email. (Sidenote, even though I had already had my video consultation, and received a one month supply of my medicine, she could not find me by my name in the system.) She finally found the email and then responded with a generic message via email saying the medicine was out of stock. At this point I have one day left of meds. I wrote back saying I needed the refill sent to my local pharmacy immediately. Gave them about an hour and kept checking my email and when I did not receive a response I called back. At this point, she told me in order to send my script to the pharmacy my pharmacy had to call them, which I don’t believe is true because the first time this happened they offered to send it to my pharmacy and did not tell me my pharmacist had to call them. However, I requested my refund and then called my pharmacy to ask them to please call Redbox to transfer this prescription. Then the Redbox customer service rep had the nerve to tell me how they usually charge customers to transfer the medicine to a pharmacy but that she’ll give me a break this time. I almost lost my mind, I said, “how dare you? You debited my account for a refill that you don’t have and you didn’t let me know and now you’re telling me I’m lucky that you’re not charging me?” I will never use Refill Box rx again. They are playing a very dangerous game with peoples health. I believe that this is a complete scam. They debit your account and then don’t send meds. Do not use this service ever.

Patient experience is very important to us. Your experience does not reflect the excellent service we strive for NoniJen. Occasionally we do have manufacturer shortages that can result in delays. We work hard to minimize these out of stocks and work hard to get them back in stock as quickly as possible. If you effected by an out of stock medication, please reach out to our patient care advocates at 844-733-2697 for assistance. We will work with you to make sure you are not without treatment.

Won't send my Meds
I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with RedBox Rx's service. Despite making a payment and being promised a timely delivery, my crucial medication has been severely delayed without a satisfactory explanation or resolution. This delay is not just an inconvenience; it's a matter of my mental health, which has been negatively impacted due to the unavailability of my prescribed medication. The lack of effective communication and resolution from RedBox Rx has left me feeling neglected and distressed. As a customer relying on their service for essential healthcare needs, the experience has been unacceptable and distressing. I urge potential customers to be wary of relying on RedBox Rx for timely medication delivery.
Response from RedBox RxJan 20, 2024
Hi Renan. I'm so sorry to hear you have not received your medication. We never want our patients to go without the medication they need. In most cases our pharmacy ships your prescription within 24 hours of the purchase. You will receive a tracking notice by email and soon within your account when the carrier processes the tracking number (usually within 48 hours). Occasionally we have a technical issue that results in not receiving tracking within that timeframe. If that is the case, please reach out to us by phone or email and we are happy to provide an update on your order.

I am very annoyed customer (no longer one and will never recommend this place)
I went on the site requesting .1 tretinoin cream which I currently use.
Even is recorded that, that is what I requested.
I spent $130 and they sent me .025% cream.
What a waist of money!!
customer service did nothing to remedy this as it was NOT my mistake.
This is not what I ordered or wanted.
I was told to go back to site and get a new prescription. Why on earth would I do that?
I had to eat the $130 and they expect me to come back? Is this really a joke?
The4 dont even deserve 1 star

Hello Sandra. We allow our patients to indicate their preferred medication and give that information to their provider along with your answers to the intake questions. It's important to make sure that the information provided in your answers is complete and accurate. If the provider is not aware of current use of a higher strength it would likely not be safe to start on it. Please remember that if your preferred treatment is not prescribed you always have the opportunity to review what was prescribed and decide if you'd like to purchase it. You are not obligated to purchase a prescribed treatment if you don't want. If you ever have questions, please give us a call!
