The fact that you require me to take time from my day for a follow up and then you attempt to charge me more is garbage.
Response from RedBox RxJul 31, 2024
Hello Jason. A follow up visit is usually only required when your prescription is out of refills or if you would like to make a change to your treatment. We do offer many different treatment plans that include automatic refills. I see that the first day you were only prescribed a single fill without refills, and that is why another consultation was required to get another fill of your treatment. We only charge you if you receive a service, so if you don't need to speak to a provider you are not charged anything. In the questionnaire you filled out, you should have had the option to choose whether or not you wanted refills. You can always choose the option to get automatic refills and pause them later if you feel you maybe want to make changes to your medication or for some other reason. If you ever have any questions about refills, our patient care team would be happy to take your call at 844-733-2697.

hidden charges
I made a purchase on RedboxRX where the advertised price excluded shipping. After filling in lengthy forms, the final checkout price was more than double the initially advertised amount, which felt deceptive. I continued with my order, only to discover in my receipt an additional $39 charge for advisory services (prescription approval). This charge was not evident during the purchase process or on the checkout page.
Upon discovering the extra charge, I contacted RedboxRx via chat and phone. Their site indicated my order had not yet shipped, so I requested a full refund, but they refused. During the chat, RedboxRx changed the status of my order to shipped without providing a tracking number. The email they sent included a broken link for tracking the order, and the order tracking on their website is also not functioning. Additionally, there is no order ID associated with my purchase.
In my opinion a series of deceptive business practices. Caveat emptor.

We’re sad to hear you feel our prices were not displayed clearly on our website as our goal is to provide transparent pricing. The cost of the visit is clearly shown on the visit checkout page, and you can also find it several places on our website. FedEx Express shipping is a service we offer, but it is not free, and the cost of this expedited shipping is also reflected on the visit checkout page. If at any point in the process of starting a visit you have questions, please feel free to reach out to us for assistance as we are happy to help answer any questions or clarify anything that may not be clear to you.
Upon reviewing your call and chat, we see that the representative who handled both was able to answer your questions about the charges and direct you to the information on our website. Since your order had already shipped this morning, it is not able to be canceled and refunded. As your visit has been completed and a prescription written, it is not eligible for a refund. We have tested the links to access the tracking information via your account on our end and they are functioning as intended. Tracking information can be found in your account anytime if the links are not opening as expected on your device. If for any reason you are unable to find it, we are happy to provide that to you via phone or email as well. If there is anything further we can assist with, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

I was notified that my order was…
I was notified that my order was delivered and what time it was delivered. When I returned home, there was no box and I looked at my ring camera footage and it showed that no one had delivered anything at that time or even near that time. I called customer support and was told that they would not issue a refund or a new product until they filed an inquiry with USPS, which could take up to a month. A MONTH. I asked to speak to a supervisor or a manager who was empowered to issue a refund or replacement and not only did the Customer Service rep refuse to do that but she would not give me the name of the supervisor or manager so I could email or follow up myself. Bad customer service you guys! Send me a replacement and deal with usps on your own (instead of saying that you can’t trust my report or telling me I needed A POLICE REPORT lol). Or require a signature when you deliver so you have proof of delivery. I’m never ordering from you again. And I’ll def tell everyone I know.
ETA to the company’s reply below: NO the customer service rep did NOT reach out to me depite my repeated calls and emails. I have had no responses and no progress has been made. I would have opted for Fed Ex if I’d been given that option. Please REDBOX RX, refund my money. I don’t think you’re doing anything to resolve this. Black market lash serum isn’t a big problem on the mean streets of LA!
ETA 2 I don’t care what they say below, no one has reached out to me. NO ONE. And because I only have the FIRST name “Mary” to contact, I cannot reach out to my case manager myself (“I’m sorry ma’am, we have many Marys.”) What if, instead of communicating with me HERE, you just went ahead and resolved the issue? Or emailed me? Or sent me a message on your portal? Or called me? OR ANYTHING HELPFUL TO ME, THE CLIENT, AS OPPOSED TO DOING DAMAGE CONTROL HERE?
Response from RedBox RxJul 28, 2024
UPDATE: 7/29/24 4:55pm CST - Per our conversation this afternoon (around 2pm CST ) I was able to provide a satisfactory resolution while we wait on the outcome of the USPS inquiry. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to me at 844-733-2697. ~Mary H.
We are sorry for your difficulties in getting your order. The matter of dealing with misdelivered or possibly stolen prescription medications is something that RedBox Rx takes very seriously, and there is a specific process we have to follow and document before any replacement medication and/or refunds can be issued. Our patient care team supervisor spoke to you and began a USPS service request on your behalf, and shared the service request number with you so that you could also keep informed as to the status of the request. These service requests generally take around a week to resolve, and rarely go beyond that timeframe. You were given the first name of the patient care team supervisor you spoke to as well as the first name of the pharmacy manager who will be reaching out to you today, but we do not give out the full names of our employees. They have the same rights to privacy protection that our patients do. On our RedBox Rx website under the shipping tab in our FAQ's section, you can learn about the different shipping options that we offer such as FedEx, which provides photo proof of delivery. This shipping option can be selected when you go to review and pay for your prescription. I do apologize again for the difficulties with your order, and I do hope you are able to reach a resolution with our pharmacy manager.

DISCRIMINATION
Redbox Rx discriminates against certain patients for no rational reason per company policy. My doctors actually told me that restarting non-stimulant ADHD medicine would be beneficial to me. Without performing any evaluation on me, the Redbox doctor immediately denied me as soon as the visit started because she said that she is unable to prescribe the medicine to patients with comorbid PTSD per company policy. Yes, ANYONE with comorbid PTSD or certain other mental conditions cannot receive ADHD medicine from Redbox.
To be clear, I was receiving ADHD treatment both PRIOR to my trauma and immediately after my trauma. I was taking the exact same medicine, atomoxextime, for ADHD while simultaneously being treated for PTSD. The only reason I stopped is because after I graduated, I no longer had access to more affordable rates at the student pharmacy and could not juggle the appointments with work. The medicine is entirely unaffordable at regular pharmacies at $120-$150 per month. Compared to Redbox’s price of $25 per month. I cannot take stimulants, which means non-stimulants are my only option. Now I will likely be unable to receive treatment for ADHD.
EDIT IN RESPONSE TO REDBOX: Yes, it absolutely is discrimination when you have a blanket policy that you never prescribe your medicine to certain patients, in spite of the fact that this medicine can be prescribed safely to MOST patients with my comorbid disorder and the other disorders the company discriminates against. My actual doctors feel that this is the appropriate treatment for me. The company created a paranoid, discriminatory policy against ALL people with comorbid disorders to avoid conjecture, miniscule risk that you could be that .0001% person where something could go wrong. Which, we have already established that no risk applied in my case, and actually, in most cases of PTSD, as well as some other comorbid disorders listed. There is actually no research evidence whatsoever that people with comorbid ADHD/PTSD cannot use atomoxetine. This is not a matter of “safety” when not backed by any medical evidence that atomexetine is harmful to those with comorbid conditions. Redbox can try to hide behind a fake, unsubstantiated, paranoid “safety” excuse all it wants, but the Redbox provider blatantly told me that I was denied per company policy that the company does not give this medicine to anyone with a comorbid condition.

I'm sorry we made you feel like we didn't want to help you. Our clinical team designed the assessment questions that you answer, to alert the patient if certain questions are answered in a way that indicates we most likely will not be able to treat you safely through our services. In your case, it would not be about the medication, it would be that the provider felt that for your own safety and for you to receive the best medical treatment, you would be better treated by a medical provider in person. A pharmacist is available at no cost to you should you wish to give them a call at 844-733-2697 and discuss your assessment more thoroughly.
I'm very sorry you feel this way. RedBox Rx offers treatments for many different conditions. The majority of the time when you request an evaluation for a condition we treat, our licensed prescribers will review the information you provide and give a prescription for the most appropriate medication. Unfortunately, not all conditions should be managed through our telehealth services. Some symptoms can be a sign of something more serious that cannot be diagnosed or ruled out through a telehealth visit. We care deeply for all our patients, and in this case, it is not a matter of discrimination, but a matter of patient safety which we hold in the highest regard. Sometimes it is not appropriate to prescribe medications due to other medications you are taking or your previous medical history. If you would like to reach out to us directly with your name and the email associated with your account, we may be able to provide additional details as to why you were not prescribed the treatment you wanted. You could also reach out to our patient care team at 844-733-2697 for a refund of your provider visit if you completed one since you were not prescribed a treatment.

No followup support
I'm had a followup question regarding my RX and instead of answering it I was just told to log into my account to see the visit notes. Ya, I already did that, and still had another question. Not impressed with the post support. Their are many options to fill online RX, I suggest you search for another option.
Response from RedBox RxJul 26, 2024
Thank you for sharing your feedback James. I'm sorry you feel that you didn't receive the attention or the response you expected from our team in your post. I would like to mention that you can speak with a pharmacist at any time for free during our open hours (Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm CST and Saturday to Sunday 11:00am-3:00pm CST) for any questions you may have about the treatment you have been prescribed. If you have any questions on pricing, shipping, or how our process works, our patient care advocates would be happy to take your call, and both parties can be reached at 844-733-2697.

Don’t trust RedBox R.
Would recommend another
I ordered my prescription 2 weeks ago and it still hasn’t come. I didn't heard from RedBox via email when I contacted them about it. To top it off, I can’t get a refund for the prescription I never got. Wouldn’t recommend Redbox rx to my worse enemy.
Response from RedBox RxJul 26, 2024
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our goal is to get a treatment shipped out within 24 hours of receipt of the prescription. You should receive an email from us letting you know that your package has shipped and tracking information should show up in your account within 48 hours of your medication being shipped. If we fail to meet this timeline, please do not hesitate to give our patient care team a call as soon as possible at 844-733-2697 so we can figure out why your treatment hasn't shipped.

Quick to charge, Slow to work
The process seemed easy enough to get a simple prescription for sea sickness. They charged me immediately and I assumed all was in the works. But two weeks went by and I realized I hadn’t received the prescription. Turns out, they seem to have forgotten all about it.
I reached out to customer service and they fixed the issue but nonetheless one star.
Response from RedBox RxJul 22, 2024
Hello Adam. We are so sorry you feel like we forgot about you. Once a provider completes a visit, the visit should be locked to show that it is completed, and the order can be processed. Unfortunately, your visit was not locked by the provider, so the prescription did not get processed and shipped out immediately. We do sincerely apologize for not finding this issue earlier. Tracking information should be present in your account within 48 hours of your prescription being shipped out so if ever you do not see it within those 48 hours, please do not hesitate to reach out to our patient care team at 844-733-2697 so that we can help you right away.

Horrible
Horrible, didn’t prescribe the right medication for shingles and I had to start treatment late.
Response from RedBox RxJul 19, 2024
We are sorry for your experience Sean. It does appear like the information you provided was reviewed and a treatment prescribed by a provider within 10 minutes of you setting up your visit. If you ever have any questions about your treatment and/or why your provider prescribed that particular medication, you can go to the visit section of your account. Our patient care team contacted the medical support team as soon as you made us aware of the issue so that we could get this resolved quickly and get you started on your treatment. If you have any questions or concerns for us while we work to get your treatment to you, please do not hesitate to give our patient care team a call at 844-733-2697.
