I can understand your frustration Gower. When you start a visit, there will be two charges. One for your physician consultation and a second charge for medication, if prescribed. Charges for any prescribed treatments are not included in the visit fee. When you select a preferred treatment, the cost of the medication will be shown on the visit checkout page but will not be charged to your payment method on file until it is prescribed at the completion of your visit. We do not charge a monthly membership fee. You only pay when you receive a product or service. This gives more control to our patients, and they don't have to worry about being charged a subscription fee even if they don't receive any services that month. You will only see a fee if you initiate a consultation with a provider or are shipped medication. We certainly understand how important timely service is to all of our patients, and unfortunately a very busy shipping holiday season was upon us at the time of your order, so some delays, while regrettable, can occur during that time. Shipping by USPS Ground Advantage is always included at no additional charge and is our default shipping method. We do offer several expedited shipping options through UPS in order to get your prescription to you much more quickly. Please see our Shipping Section on our website redboxrx.com for all of our shipping options. The fastest option to get your prescription is to have it sent to a local pharmacy of your choice. You can choose this option at the very beginning of the questionnaire you fill out at the start of a visit. Though we do charge the full visit fee when you choose not to use our pharmacy, this method should get you your prescription in the timeliest manner possible. We understand your frustration and appreciate you reaching out Angie. Some symptoms can be a sign of something more serious that cannot be diagnosed or ruled out through a telehealth visit. Patient safety is very important to us and sometimes it is not appropriate to prescribe medications due to other medications, side effects you may have experienced/may be experiencing, or medical history. Our policy is if our providers are not able to give you a prescription to treat your condition, we offer a refund for the visit fee.
