We’re sorry to hear about your frustrations and appreciate the opportunity to address them. Our pricing is clearly displayed during the ordering process, specifically the price of a provider visit when you choose to use the RedBox Rx pharmacy (which is discounted when you choose to fill with us), and when you choose to use an outside pharmacy (which means you would pay the full price of the provider visit). You can always choose to transfer your prescription to a local pharmacy after your prescription has been sent to RedBox Rx, but you would need to pay the remaining balance of the full cost of the provider visit. Once that remaining balance is paid, the pharmacy you wish to fill your prescription with will need to call (not fax) our RedBox Rx pharmacist at 844-733-2697 to transfer your prescription. We unfortunately did not have a record of another pharmacy calling to request a transfer of a prescription for you, but if they want to give our pharmacist a call at the number above after the remaining provider visit fee is paid, we would be happy to help you. If you miss your appointment with your provider, please contact our Patient Care Advocates at 844-733-2697 so we can help you. We understand that our service may not be right for everyone, but we believe that we can help many receive access to affordable, quality healthcare that might not receive it otherwise. Many of our patients do not have prescription insurance coverage or have high deductible plans. Our visit fees and prescriptions costs are often less than typical insurance copays. While our prices vary by condition, we are focused on keeping prices as affordable as we can for our patients. Hello Fred. I'm sorry you weren't prescribed the amount of pills you wanted. When you request an evaluation for a condition we treat, our licensed prescribers will review the information you provide and give a prescription for the most appropriate medication, amount of medication, and/or strength of medication. That is not always the medication or amount that you prefer, but you can view the reason why the provider selected that treatment instead in the "note from your provider" found on your visits tab in your account. Our providers may want to start you out on a smaller amount of medication if you are moving up or lower the strength of the medication you are taking to be sure it is safe and effective for you. Our Patient Care Advocates can also assist you with refunding your visit fee as our refund policy states that payments for provider fees are refundable for completed visits when the provider does not prescribe treatment.
