"Missed Appointment"
The scheduling process went smooth. That’s it. I was online for my appointment and met June, the nurse. She asked me about my anxiety, why I was scheduling the call, etc. I explained and by the time I finished explaining, her video was gone. No verbal response either. I was still connected though so I was confused. Either way, I went to the link I’d been texted to try to reconnect, only to wait over 30 minutes never reconnect. When I went to my profile, it showed I missed my appointment! If you miss your appointment, you get charged another fee to reschedule, and I’m not paying for them to ignore me. I canceled that hsa card, and ordered a new one before calling to let them know why I had gone through. The call receptionist, Susan, was perfectly pleasant despite clearly having back to back calls, and assured me in provided technical issues, rescheduling doesn’t charge again, and offered to help with rescheduling, but why would I trust a company whose whole business model is tech based that can’t operate their call devices (phones/ laptops/ computers, whatever). Did they not have a backup? I don’t know. I don’t intend to find out.

I'm sorry Donna. I can understand why you are so frustrated. Sometimes technical barriers don't allow our normal process to be completed. We cannot always get you in with another provider right away as the appointment slots for providers licensed in your state may have already been full for the day. It sounds like our Patient Care Advocate Supervisor was able to provide some additional information on the situation and was also attempting to get you rescheduled for another appointment at no cost to you. Please give our team a call at 844-733-2697 if you would still like any assistance in setting up a new provider visit. We will do everything we can to get you scheduled for a time that works for you.
