Since individual responses to medication can vary, we recommend discussing any concerns about effectiveness with your provider. Just like treatments you might be prescribed at an in-person visit, some may not work for you. We do not offer returns or refunds of prescriptions that don't work or cause side effects or allergic reactions. These simply cannot be predicted. If you are concerned about sensitivities or how a product may work for you, we'd recommend purchasing the smallest about offered to make sure the treatment is a good fit for you. Our providers carefully evaluate each case to ensure safe and appropriate treatment, but we understand how frustrating it can be when treatment is denied through our services at RedBox Rx. While previous medical and treatment history can be helpful, each consultation is assessed individually based on current symptoms and medical guidelines. The provider's reasoning can be found in the notes from your visit in your account. If you have not already done so, our Patient Care Advocates can assist you with refunding your visit fee if you were not prescribed medication as our refund policy states that "payments for provider fees are refundable for completed visits when the provider does not prescribe treatment". After reviewing your case, I see that you set up your visit and were prescribed treatment within the 24-hour goal we set for our service. It appears that you canceled your prescription the day after it was prescribed for you. We understand how important timely service is, and we regret that we could not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, if orders are placed outside of normal business hours and/or over the weekend, and due to shipping constraints, orders are not always able to be shipped as quickly (please visit our FAQ's section on our website RedBoxRx.com for additional shipping information). If you ever need your prescription sooner than what we can do through our pharmacy, our patients do have the option to select a local pharmacy to have their prescription sent to after paying the full provider visit fee. Our refund policy states that we will refund the cost of what you paid for your visit fee if you were not prescribed treatment during your visit with one of our providers. Since you were prescribed treatment during your visit, we are unable to refund that fee. The cost of the visit fee is to pay for the time and expertise of our medical providers. We’re sorry to hear about your concerns and appreciate the opportunity to address them. I'm sorry that our provider support team did not get back to you in a timely manner. That is not the level of service we aim to provide our patients, and for that I am truly sorry. Per our policy, if you would have set up another appointment with one of our providers and were not prescribed a treatment during that visit, we would refund the cost of that visit. The conditions that we treat are all listed on our website RedBoxRx.com, and the list of treatments, the strength of medication, the quantity, and refill amounts offered are all listed under the condition the patient selects when setting up a visit with one of our providers. If the treatment or strength of the treatment are not listed under the preferred medication list for the condition you are wishing to treat, then that is not something that we offer through RedBox Rx.
