I've used C.D.R.T for over 10years, if you back up audio, graphics, video & other digital data on a optical drive writable disc, like DVD- DVD+ CD, its a must have, even if the disc looks fine, but the OS is stubborn and won't allow you to retrieve the data, R-click C.D.R.T run as Administrator, 90% of the time it pulls it right off the disc no problem, I've used it on some mutated discs, thought no way, I'll be lucky to recover one single thumbnail... surprises me every time... CHEERS & BEST...

I used it copy corrupted video cd and it worked like a charm
