I've been using Receipt Hog for 7 years. Recently they have decided to not give credit for certain receipts like Gas and restaurants. If you write a tip on the receipt, forget it. That will show up as BLURRY or NOT A REAL RECEIPT. If they don't recognize the restaurant (The Big Chill, The Taxman, Ford's Garage, etc.), then forget it. No credit for that either. Even when you contact them they'll give you a flimsy excuse like, we can't tell what you ordered. Apparently steak and salad aren't recognized as restaurant food. We're also talking Dominoes and Donatos Pizza joints. Nope! Gas stations are hit and miss. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Not sure how much longer I'll stay. Best of luck if you decide to use them.

All was fine for a couple of years, earned many gift card. Then old receipts were popping up. These had been entered the day of purchase or the next. I never submitted old receipts. They told me problem in my end. Suggested I delete app and reinstall. Did that. Then when trying to retrieve gift card you have to hit SEND CODE. This is where they send you code by email. Seems there was never email sent to me. They could not understand and kept saying problem my end. Have iPad, does not get those problems. Told them BYE THAT THEY WERE NOT WORTH TROUBLE. This was an on going problem for like 3 weeks.

This is terrible, it tells you to scan receipts but it can't read them and if you shop at the same store it won't take them, it takes a year and about 1000 receipts to get $40, it sucks big time trying to get to $40 so I can delete it

Receipt Hog sucks. You get like 5 points for receipts and they are always declining current receipts saying they are not current. This happens even when the receipt is from the current day! This is the worst app out there. Do yourself a favor and get Fetch Rewards and rack up the points much faster for buying the brands you usually buy.

Not worth your time! they give about 0,0025$ per receipt, and about 1 out of 10 receipts actually works even if they're all eligible... Don't waste your precious time :)

As others have stated they basically made anything up to 2850 points worthless. This was many months for me and I had 2759, just 9 receipts short of a 10 pound cashout. I've emailed but got no satisfactory response. Avoid.

The app stopped to accept receipts from UK without offering any kind of compensation. All the receipts uploaded, surveys completed and time wasted for nothing. I lost 1231 coins with no compensation, this app is a con!

Been out of Receipt Hog for quite a while.Cashed out at $15 because they found endless ways to make sure I didn't earn any more money for receipts.
