The app is very frustrating at times. My receipts are often refused and the reason that is given is not true. I also have had too much trouble and problems connecting my email to the app. This app is very frustrating!!

I hate it when they say that my receipts are duplicates im only using ONE card in all my purchases hahs

„Anfangs war ich sehr zufrieden mit Receipt Hog, auch wenn es lange gebraucht hat, bis die Punkte zusammen kamen. Doch mittlerweile ist die App nur noch frustrierend: Entweder werden Kassenbons als ‚zu alt‘ oder ‚Duplikat‘ abgelehnt. Besonders ärgerlich ist, dass bei Bons mit hohen Beträgen oft gar keine Reaktion erfolgt. Es ist sehr schade um die investierte Zeit.

Erste Belohnung erfolgreich verdient! ABER: Etliche Kassenbons werden nachträglich abgelehnt aus diversen Gründen, überwiegend sachlich falsch. Bestes Beispiel: wenn bei Scannen alles "grün" ist, muss das auch gelten! STatt dessen gibt es teils im Nachgang eine Ablehnung, weil etwas angeblich nicht lesbar sei. Das ist nicht ehrlich! Außerdem funktioniert die digitale Kassenbon Registrierung nicht, auch nicht bei Einsendung per Email. Ich bin bei einigen Apps von Geschäften mit Email registriert, die Receipt Hog jedoch nicht findet und bei REWE klappt die Verbindung nicht (ca. 5 Mal). Es gibt technisch noch sehr großen Nachbesserungsbedarf.

Once I got to a certain level and accrued a very good amount of points - all of a sudden my account was disabled. they used the " you put fraudulent receipts on as a reason - then I had to email MULTIPLE times for them to send me ONE receipt they said was not allowed per their guidelines - and it was a VALID receipt from a $2.99 apple purchase. No one will respond and I am CERTIN it is becasue I never turned in my many points - almost $100 worth and I was at the point I was going to earn almost $10 - $20 more because of the level I was at and they just did not want to pay out - If it was REALLY because of "invalid" receipts they would just take those and the points away. They just want to get your information and not pay out - HOURS of my life wasted! *Update 9/15/25. They are replying below that my account goes against their " rules"... I have emailed MULTIPLE times asking what I did " wrong". And the only thing that they provided was one image of a receipt that they said was unreadable. As multiple other people have stated on this site, that's part of the problem with receipt hog It doesn't allow for the images to come through correctly all of the time and that is not a failure of us, but rather a failure on them. I was never given any warnings or anything at all All of a sudden I went to login one day as I upload receipts every single day and they had multiple times to tell me that I was uploading something incorrectly and just cut me off. $100 and over 100 spins and even more that was coming my way because of an unreadable receipt? Or who knows what because they can't respond... also the correct thing to do, to keep your customers and your people happy because Lord knows they've gotten lots and lots of information from all of my receipts, is to pay out from the receipts that were correct. And also to give someone a chance instead of just telling them that they are fraudulent which is just a terrible word to use to someone who would never do something like that. - After this - They did end up responding later in day that you cannot send them " e receipts " and that the amount of my earnigs is $40 - they gave an exception and sent me the $40 in a gift card but are not re-enabling my Account - It took a lot of back and forth but at least they did finally come thru. I will change my review to 3 stars - but the way to work with people is to LET THEM KNOW what they are doing tat does not matchup with what your Sponsors want and give them a chance - not just cut them off

I've noticed when you spin the reel when you are given free spins to get extra points, that the real starts with a hog on the left and as soon as it starts spinning after about two spins the hog disappears and it's not on the reel anymore. So there's no way you'll ever get three hogs in a row to get the maximum prize because they've removed the hog from the first reel on the left . I have brought this to their attention a few times that the hog is disappearing

Too many issues trying to photograph a receipt. I look at the picture and the date is clearly visible but it doesn't get checked off. Hit the plus or redo and still have the same issue. Been trying to connect my Chewy account numerous times with no success. Redeeming points seem to work without ant issues.

Einige Kassenbons werden als "nicht lesbar" oder "doppelt hochgeladen" deklariert. Zum ersten muss ich die Kassenbons ein zweites mal hochladen, dann erst werden sie anerkannt und zum zweiten auch.
