Good to have Realmart Realty as a transactional broker
generally speaking, I have had a good experience by hiring Realmart Realty as a flat fee, transactional broker, except some unpolite responses I got when I called in for some questions

Realmart is the leading online Seller Portal that allows smart sellers like yourself to decide your own commission while equipping you with all the services needed to sell a home. It is much more advanced than any For Sale By Owner (FSBO) site. Realmart's process differentiates from FSBO sales in many ways. House was listed with a basement when we put there is a crawl space. Also house was litsed as a short sale when that wasn't the case either. I did accidentally mark short sale but the following question asked same thing and that was marked standard sale so someone should of contacted me since the two answers contradicted themselves.

My only complaint about your service is the inability for my phone or email to be immediately available. I also found out by calling on weekend tgat the service said no one was available in working hours on week days. If my information cannot be immediately available and the agency is unavailable a sale goes out the window.

The email response are quick. However, too much paper work to fill. I had to fill out the same information twice. Once on the web site and the same thing on paper. Realmart really need to simplify the process. It took about a day to do all these!

After a solid, consistent relationship with Realmart, my rep ended up sneaky and unprofessional. When a client’s contract was close to expiring, and the property hadn’t sold (although we got them offers that the board ultimately rejected) the Realmart rep went directly to the seller, and spoke negatively about me as an agent, to get the listing for herself and cut me out off their deal I had been working on. The rep wasn’t privy to the backstory holding the listing back because it fell under agent-client confidentiality. Not did she know of the close relationship I had with the seller. The client told me everything the rep had done. It was unprofessional and the reason brokers have a bad reputation. I wouldn’t use Realmart again nor would I recommend them to others.

Dear Elise, are you the owner or the agent who is helping the seller? Who was the realtor that took the listing from you? It does not seems to be a realmart agent based on your description. As you know our Flat Fee MLS program, there is no commission for the listing side except the $395 flat fee paid upfront. We make the listing process easy and simple, and publish the listing to ALL realtors so they will have a chance to sell the property and earn a commission on the buyer side. Is it a buyer agent who find a buyer for the seller, but waited until our listing is expired to go made the deal directly with the seller? Welcome to call me at [email protected] or 732-698-8068 about this. We will find out what happened, and prevent similar instance in the future.
