Fred, Loan officer has always been excellent to work with. Have done two refi and one original loans with him. Other support staff, processors, closing, etc were great as well. Closed as scheduled. During documentation though, at times it appeared already uploaded docs or emailed were still being requested. Also multiple staff confused me as to who I should deal with. Very fast and comprehensive process. One of the best experiences in refinancing.

We dealt with Consumer Direct Mortgage twice. The first time in 2016 we did a refinance with them and it was a 5 stars work; everything went through smoothly with no problem. However, the second time it was a refinance in 2020 and it wasn't so smooth, it took them 71 days to finalize our loan. Overall we are happy with the company since they offer very competitive mortgage rates and fees, and they are not a small company.

At the end of the day, everything worked as it should have, I can only provide 4 stars because the underwriting was a little ridiculous My sales contact and others were readily available and overall, I would recommend them for your mortgage needs. I am happy with the rate and the servicing since closing has been very good, wait.... perfect!

Great initial service and follow up. The underwriting process was difficult and unnecessary for some items. Some documentation was frankly not necessary and already documented, i.e. did not need further clarification.

Overall, very good. Some mix-ups toward the end but everything worked out.

There were too many contact people. As soon as I got used to one, another person seemed to take their place without an explanation! Otherwise everything was fine. Nice respectful people!
