Very good until the end
The first half/two thirds of our contact with ConsumerDirect Mortgage was easy - qualifying, submitting requested documentation, scheduling a closing date. However, as the closing date approached, the mortgage processors kept changing the amount we needed to bring to the closing, and never explained the reasons for the changes. Secondly, the notary sent to our house didn’t understand or couldn’t explain the documents needed to take the title out of our family trust so we could sign the new deed. This led to a week’s delay in finalizing the closing. Our one suggestion is that the folks responsible for setting up the closing to do a better job of communicating with their clients and the remote notary.
