Our loan officer was precise in this description of the loan deal and process and everything that he described was true and accurate. There were a few minor hiccups in closing but the overall process was great. We are very happy with the refinance.

This was the first time using online financing for my mortgage. The process was very easy and I would use consumer direct mortgage again. The communication was not very good. Particularly from the loan processor but somewhat the mortgage broker as well. I say this hesitantly because it was at a time when everybody was refinancing At the same time. I would think in normal market times the communication would be better

Process was long and kind of painful. Computer use to submit documents was extensive. Okay for computer literate, not so good for non computer users. Several people were involved in the underwriting process. Somewhat confusing for the borrower.

Everyone was helpful and friendly however my packet was lost for almost 2 weeks. Meanwhile , even while on vacation, I had to send another complete set of documents. Detail that was missed is that after speaking with your agent I sent it out USPS SIGNATURE REQUIRED. We’ll there wasn’t anyone to sign for it! It got lost! I sent it to that office specifically because your agent had told me that it was open during Covid. Now that I think about it I should be reimbursed cost ($50) to FAX every page FROM A FEDEX LOCATION so as not to hold up closing.

Overall the service was efficient. A few of the processes took a long time. I was also requested to provide certain information multiple times.

goo streamlined process

My initial advisor David was excellent. He communicated very quickly, right to the point and able to point me at a direction very clearly. Haven’t worked with someone who is so great in mortgage for a while (my 5th house). After starting the application, I was then transferred to a group of folks for underwriting and remaining processing. There were 2-3 people in the process and less clear on who should I respond to since I got emails from different people. Furthermore, they were having difficulty getting info back and forth from the title company. During the two-week prior to closing, the process was quite stressful due to ineffective communication and lack of clarity on the loan status. My realtor had to step in so many times to move things along. That part was truly disappointing. I had such a great start with David.. did get a great rate for 15-yr so at the end of the day, it’s all worth it!
