Everything was fine until they underestimated my escrow account. Now I'm stuck with 200 plus dollars a month on my payment.

I am a Costco customer & used Consumer Direct Mortgage through them for a Re-fi. The loan agent told me my loan wouldn't be sold and I would still deal with them. I will say we changed the type of re-fi from a fixed rate to an adjustable and that may be why my loan got sold to Chase Bank. The folks I dealt with were nice and helpful, but they need to be aware when dealing with the West coast, that we're 2 hours behind them as more than once we got a very early morning call. There were a few blips at closing that could have been prevented if some of the final people who handled my loan package hadn't delayed items on their end. I got a great rate without closing costs. I just think better training for their folks would go a long way

I was told biweekly mortgage payment option is not available, and that didn’t make me happy for sure. Nothing wrong with the CS operator.

I already left a review with Costco but I will repeat here. The Broker was excellent, Underwriting was excellent. Closing was poor at best as the settlement agent, Fidelity National was non-existent and unreachable who paid out amounts far in excess of a reasonable payoff for the old loan and then sent me a payment with no explanation that they later stopped payment on causing me to incur returned check charges from my bank. I now need to wait another month to get the $2K overpayment reimbursed to me from the old bank. There is definitely room for improvement in this process.

Very slow process. I did refinancing and moved from other lender for my multiple properties but took longest time every time. It took 3 months to close after multiple followups. When I mentioned about delay, processor said it didn’t took that longer.

Great rates, but way too long to complete refi. Too many demands for info and having to re-send/give same info multiple times. Still waiting on appraisal overcharge almost 30 days after closing

The process of getting to closing was very painful. They requested documentations for things that were not relevant (e.g. a debt-free property abroad). However, they did provide the quote rate at the end.
