The program helped my son learn how to speak out in front of a large group. Also, it helped him improve on his tell-backs. His reading speed improved from 15 to 20 lines per minute. I have enrolled him in the fall program.

Mr. C. was an incredible teacher. Kept the kids engaged, made them feel confident and important and that they could do this. It really made the kids feel like they could. My child left more confident in her ability to read and to keep learning. The online homework was fun for her to do so she didn't mind doing it. Highly recommend this for any child who struggles to read or even to improve skills. My child now asks if she can get a book to read! that never happened before.

I have seen my five year old son become much more comfortable learning to read. This is his second year completing the summer reading program and I am so happy with his progress. He was unable to start kindergarten until this year because of his birthday but just two weeks after he started he was moved into a first grade classroom. I know that a big part of this change has to do with his reading comprehension and skills! Thanks to the summer reading program, my son has learned reading appropriate to his level and I have learned to support them.
