My daughter improved her reading speed and learned how to improve reading comprehension with tellbacks with the provided novel. She also reinforced her writing skills with the weekly writing assignments and understands how to read a textbook. My only disappointment was that there was not much time spent on how to take notes, but this is a great course for any rising sixth grader.

Our daughter who just turned 4 enjoyed this class. She really benefited from the additional online learning classes as well. She is taking a second reading class through the same company to extend these reading skills even further. Thank you!

This is a wonderful program. My child's reading abilities and confidence grew. I would recommend this program to anyone, especially those parents who have children that are not motivated to read.

When my daughter started kindergaten, her teacher could not believe she could read fluently and even write. Thank you Institute of Reading Development. Proud Mom. Faith.

I highly recommend this program. My kids have attended for a few years now and we will keep enrolling. Teachers are great and well organized.

The class was much better than I expected. The teacher was very skilled and her management of the group was excellent. She included all students in the learning and answering questions. I am an educator so my standard was high and Marina exceeded my expectations.

The instructor made the class interesting and brought the book to life. This made my child renew his love of reading. If we can chose instructors, we would choose Mr. Thorenson again. We will definitely be back for the 12 week class. My child is very excited to start it.

This program has truly been a lifesaver for my child's confidence and reading level. She can read more fluently now and has started to comprehend what she's reading so much better! I highly recommend this program for any child that is struggling and needs more confidence!
