Ineffective and Expensive
I urge anyone considering RapidScale to look elsewhere. We have had so many problems with them and constantly get the run-around - referred to another department, being assigned to a different rep, a multitude of excuses for never actually solving the issues. Some recent examples: Our business has downsized over the past two years and we wanted to reduce the number of software licenses that we pay for. Although our software renewal is coming up in August, RapidScale tells us we will be charged $8000 to decrease our licenses. Essentially, we would have to pay for the licenses even though we would not have use of them. The communication is terrible and no explanations are given. We have also been trying to implement a backup internet system, which RapidScale has been unable to make work. They do not provide on-site support, and their phone support may as well be non-existent too for all the good it does. We are eagerly anticipating the end of our contract term with this company and warn others to stay away.
