I am a Motorola Radio dealer and have used and sold two-way radios for many years, we also own a trucking business. I had been wanting to put radios in our trucks but knew the limitations of having a repeater on the tower at my shop - it’d work great for about 40 air miles but the costs kept me from ever doing it… I have a used vhf analog repeater but I wanted digital so I was going to have to purchase a new $2,500 repeater, $600 duplexer, $1,500 antenna and 3 mobile radios that at my cost were still about $600 each plus the FCC license and know I’d be limited to a small geographic area for good communication. I started with only 2 Rapid Radios (we use the mobile radio that stays in the truck) and found the coverage was better than our cellphones. Yes, there are places we have issues getting the best quality signal at but overall you can’t beat the price and a low ongoing yearly access fee. I can buy MANY Rapid Radios for just the cost of what a vhf digital repeater was going to cost me at my wholesale prices! The customer service is great as well, I emailed Sunday night about needing to get a replacement microphone for one of the radios and first thing Monday morning Jared emailed me back with the price and got one ordered.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for bringing such a knowledgeable perspective to the conversation! With your background in the two-way radio industry, we're especially pleased to hear that Rapid Radios has proven to be a valuable communication solution for your trucking business. It's great to hear that you've been able to achieve the coverage and functionality your business needs without the significant upfront investment of a traditional repeater system. We also appreciate your realistic perspective on network coverage and the value of our annual access pricing. We're glad Jared was able to respond promptly and make ordering your replacement microphone a simple process. We'll be sure to pass along your appreciation! Thank you for trusting Rapid Radios to help keep your trucks connected. We truly value your business and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! — The Rapid Radios Team

It is rare when customers get to experience superlatively friendly, prompt, and thoroughly wonderful Rapid Radios Customer Service Representative Emma provided to me during my ordering process and her follow up! Emma was able to efficiently and completely resolve a couple of ‘bumps’ I ran into ordering my 3-pack Rapid Radio package with accessories directly from a Facebook link, and ensured that the order was updated and correct, not relenting until I was totally happy with the very last detail. Awesome customer service and so patient with my many questions…Emma makes Rapid Radios shine bright as she is truly in the top 1% of outstanding customer service representatives!
