Outstanding!
I don't remember the last time I wrote a review, but when I find something awesome I do. This is it! I've done many programs from Crossfit to Athlean to P90X to SEAL fit...this is the most straightforward, consistent, and approachable program out there. Bite-sized workouts are perfectly packaged for tight timelines. Bands and calisthenics are easy on old joints (trust me, 25 years of college football and Marine infantry has left me with plenty of soft tissue damage!)
Less than $70???? You spend more than that on lattes and fast food. Just get it!

For the first time since I was probably…
For the first time since I was probably 11 I have visible abs. Don't get me wrong I still have a ways to go but this is the most progress I have ever seen in any program I've ever done. To say I am addicted is an understatement. I am only down 22 pounds since March but a hell of a lot leaner. This isn't a fat loss program, this is a change your whole life program. Fabian Petrina is a fitness genius and the community he built in Basement Beast is incredible. I would have given up months ago if it wasn't for those guys so for that I want to say thank you. Keep pressing play and keep believing. It was a hell of a slow burn but I got here and this is just the beginning.

I'm 62 years old and I am on week 9 day…
I'm 62 years old and I am on week 9 day 1 of the 12 week program and I have to say without a doubt that this program works.
I was 215lbs when I started 9 weeks ago and now I am 198lbs and have muscle starting to show in my arms, legs, and chest.
All this from only 20 minuets a day and only 9 weeks in. I'm going to repeat this program until I get where I want then move on to one of the other programs that Fabian has.

Short but tough workouts that deliver results
Been trying gyms etc for years and for somebody that struggles with motivation never quite made it to where I wanted to be. I have a busy life like many people, children, job that makes me work away from home but these programs are perfect.
I was cynical at first before I pressed order, however after the first week when I could barely move due to muscle fatigue I was hooked, and looking forward to the next workout.
It's tough, but Fabian is a brilliant motivator he really keeps you going even when it gets tough. I think this is brilliant value and have recommended this to many friends.

Exciting, Engaging & 100% Results Driven!
What happens when you find a workout that is exciting? How about a brand that is equally exciting? Even better, it's realistic, holistic and aimed at getting you where you want to go regardless of age or fitness level? As a life long, fairly well educated gym rat, who has been all over the spectrum of fit to recently not-so-fit, I can say this is not some hyped up, flavor of the month program. Basement Beast is real enough that it has its own ecosystem, and a real person in Fabian who does the work with you, engages with clients, and has realized that you don't need a professional movie set, cue cards and lighting to get people motivated. The value proposition here is, the results you get greatly outweigh.the cost. Users in the Facebook community aren't paid fitness models - they are normal people seeing success. He walks the walk and backs it up with a money back guarantee. As for the brand - would you rather be seen in a Basement Beast T Shirt, or a Beach Body T Shirt? (mic drop) Sign up, and see yourself.

Been through 3 programs now and keep coming back for more.
Been through 3 different Basement Beast programs (12 Week, Mass & Shred) and they have all been awesome.
Really enjoy the way the workouts are structured and that the programs all have elements of progression to them so you are continuously working to push yourself and set and achieve new goals vs choosing random workouts to do on random days. This is a huge selling point for me - BB guides you through everything from workouts to diet to macros but the workouts are short enough it's super flexible to fit into my schedule.
The level of community and support during these programs is another bonus and it have helped generate a really really positive experience.
Been very happy with the results I've seen to date from all programs and look forward to continue to push through and excited to see how Basement Beast evolves in the future.

Awesome after 2-weeks in
Thoughts after almost 1.5 weeks of the program:
Background: I worked out quite a bit when I was younger (20's and 30's) and I'm now 44 and have been more-or-less sedentary with kids, family and "stuff" and I wanted to get back into shape without having to go to a gym and wake up at 3:30am. This seemed to fit the bill.
I bought some resistance bands on Amazon, and then decided to splurge and get the ones from B/Beast simply b/c if I'm going all-in, it made sense to suck it up and get high quality.
Pros:
The workouts are quick and intense. Fabian has great energy and keeps you motivated
Using the bands are fun and different. I can see using these for other applications besides BB
Community is maybe the BEST part of the program. Look - at 44 with a "Father Figure", it's great seeing other guys on the site and see transformations as well as bounce off ideas and questions.
Fabian does a good job trying to make diet as easy as possible. It's a bit tough with measuring macros, but diet is very important. I'm not the best at measurements, but I use my older workout training which was a palm (3-4 oz) of lean protein + palm size of healthy carbs + good vegetables. I try to maintain the calories and ratio of carbs:fat:protein, even if I'm not super organized with recording. I DID buy Huel meal replacements (I might try some others, but they had a deal) to make life easier for me for 1-2 meals/day.
Speaking of meals, I haven't signed up, but I appreciate Fabian partnering with a company that can custom tailor a frozen meal plan for you - pretty sweet.
Price point is very reasonable AND there's the guarantee. I was considering Athlean-X (probably very good) and I think it was $100 for the system? This was ~$70 for the 12-weeks (yeah - there are bands etc..., but you CAN get them cheaper online if you want).
I saw Fabian posted a dumbell "beta" video segment. Very cool to get feedback (and smart for marketing) before selling the program. I think another work-out guy has a similar system between bands and dumbells, so it makes sense.
Cons:
It was bit hard to figure out warm-ups + 12-week + bonus videos. A lot of Beasts were (almost as pride) mentioned how their legs after W1D1 were crushed for 3+ days. I get it, but my first thought was: "Are they stretching before AND after"? After the intense workout, Fabian doesn't really do a cooldown / stretch AFTER the workout. I do, and it helps quite a bit.
Fabian DOES mention how important stretching is in his stretching videos, but I wish he started his 12-week videos by saying: "Hey Beasts - you should have stretched before we jump in! Go to the stretching videos for 5-10 min if you haven't. Let's go!" or something like that.
For the stretching videos, to me, it's not clear what video is best (maybe it doesn't matter) between dynamic stretching, band stretching etc... prior to the different workouts. Also - if someone is gung-ho and jumps directly into the workouts and never sees the stretching videos, they might not be aware how important a warm-up is.
I'm fortunate that in my 20's, I paid for coaches and my cousins were olympic lifters, so I learned the proper form of squats, push-ups etc... I wish Fabian had a section more on important form (e.g. squats: weights on heals, it should feel like you're sitting down on a bench behind you etc. Chest press: important to NOT round shoulders etc...
A simple video section PRIOR to the main section (outlined in the blueprint/guide to go through this first BEFORE starting) that breaks down the proper form for each exercise and what it SHOULD feel like would be nice.
The layout of the program a little bit could be better. For example: Day 1= Read the Nutritional Pdf. Day 2 = Watch video 1-3 of proper form and stretching. Day 3 = Start 12 week training W1D1 etc...
I might have missed it, but snack ideas would be huge. 4-meals/day when 2 are liquid (400 cal), I get hungry and try not to eat garbage. Yeah - celery/carrot sticks etc... might get the job done, but other ideas would be great as well.
Overall - I'm very happy with the purchase. The workouts are overall very good, Fabian's energy and enthusiasm is infectious and the community is awesome. Happy tomorrow is a rest day, and looking forward to pushing through and seeing the rest of the results from the fellow beasts.
Fun note: My 4-year old boys (twins) actually cry if they hear me working out in the morning and I didn't wait for them. They'll do a couple pushups and planks with dad. It's good motivation to get healthy again.
