Starting using Ramp in Q1, 2026. Enjoy single-use cards for business cash management. However, they DON'T SYNC WITH QBO as believed. I've been trying for months to get it to sync and today I decided to give it one last go. Ramp's AI bot had me upgrade QBO, change browsers, etc., before finally telling me the issue was on QBO's side. QBO then told me that they contacted RAMP and transactions will only sync into QBO if I open a checking account with them. Wish I knew that months ago. Now I'm uploading transactions manually and trying to get my books in order. Ball dropped guys.

More Spam than Hawaii
I do not use their product but they refuse to honor unsubscribes and "do not call me" requests. I have been explicit in my rejection of their communication, but it does not end. I've reported as spam and blocked locally, but I should not need to resort to that.

This is a sham of a company
This is a sham of a company, holding onto funds for extended period of time and requiring a minimum of 1% fee to receive my money. I should not have to pay to receive my money as a 1099 contractor because the payor chose to utilize this money grabbing company. This business model ahould be illegal.

They did a bait and switch here
They did a bait and switch here. We used Ramp for a year, and assumed the lack of customer service was what you get when you have software as a service. After a year, they sent a late renewal contract with a massive fee never discussed when we signed up. Like a virus, they got into our practices then disclosed hidden fees.

Ramp's platform released $92K from our…
Ramp's platform released $92K from our account, their own docs prove it shouldn't have been possible, and they refuse to take responsibility
I've run businesses for over two decades. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a financial platform.
In March 2026, nine bills totaling $92,453.70 were released as payments from our Ramp account. I am the only person authorized to release payments. Our team member Sandi was assigned the AP Clerk role, which is a bill approval role. Ramp's own published documentation states, word for word: "AP Clerks cannot: Release payments."
Despite that, when Sandi approved the bills as part of her normal daily workflow, Ramp's system released $92,453.70 in payments. There was no separate "release payment" button, no confirmation screen, no warning that she was doing anything other than her usual invoice approval.
When we caught it, we tried to cancel immediately inside the platform. The system returned errors every time. We called support and told them not to process the payments. They processed them anyway.
What happened next was worse. Over five weeks, Ramp gave us three completely different and contradictory explanations. First, their support rep said the bills were "auto-approved" by the system and "the Ramp bill approval workflow was skipped automatically." Then a different rep said a user was "manually added for payment release." Then their Head of Litigation wrote that our workflow had been "updated to include" Sandi as a payment releaser. Our bookkeeper pulled the audit log from inside Ramp's own platform. It shows one thing: Sandi was added as an AP Clerk. That's it. She was never added to Payment Release. Only I appear in Payment Release.
So Ramp's own documentation says AP Clerks can't release payments, their own platform shows Sandi was only ever an AP Clerk, and their Head of Litigation told us something that the evidence directly contradicts.
Their resolution? They told us to contact the vendor and ask for a refund on invoices that were never valid. They've also referred us to collections for the $92,453.70.
When Sandi reported the charge to Ramp's support chat as unauthorized, Ramp's system treated it as a potential fraud case, locked her card, and offered to file a fraud dispute. But they never reversed the bill payments.
They also ignored multiple written requests to cancel our account for weeks.
I am now pursuing this through the CFPB, the Texas Attorney General, the New York Department of Financial Services, and legal counsel. If you're considering Ramp for your business, ask them these questions before you sign up: What happens if a user in an approval-only role accidentally triggers a payment release? What does the cancellation process actually look like when something goes wrong? How fast can you reach a human when $92K is walking out the door?
I wish someone had warned me.

Card has been compromised three times in 3 months. Turnaround time for card replacement is almost 1 week. It's been nothing but and enormous headache. I do not recommend.

Beware The Free Gift Card
This company engages in the tactic of promising a gift card for taking part in a sales call. But in my case they never delivered on the offer after conducting two full calls and asking about it multiple times. I actually agreed to take part in a third call just to see if they would follow through. They ended up cancelling the call with me because our accountant wouldn't be joining me on the call. That was never part of the initial discussion...I think it was just their way of getting out of the call for some reason. None of it made sense. Also, my main contact changed three times in the last three months.

RAMP
Wuhan Wangsheng - answering your question - when I purchased the money had to go to another app called Ramp and I had a lot of issues. But I paid it and I never heard from anyone ever again
