I've been using railway for about a year now - started as an MVP for a project, I was surprised how fast and easy was to deploy a service in a reliable way - Since then I've became a fan of railway because they are releasing really cool new features every week! I really liked when they migrated their infra from gcloud to on-prem (metal) which gave me great discounts and better performance.

Pro tip: if you file a DMCA complaint against a website hosted here, they will ban it and they won't share the complaint with them. So you can just do that and nobody will do nothing. That's what happened to me. I got banned due to DMCA, but no information is shared. You'll lose your database and backups. They won't say what the complaint was about, who filed it, anything.

Railway keeps deployment simple, while still having enough customizability once you get familiar, to tune your setup for your application needs. Railway makes it super easy to get started hosting websites. They also have really helpful docs and resources, including their forum to help you when you face issues. They also handle CD from git and other configs that help you scale easily without writing any code.

Railway has nailed the perfect abstraction for modern development. It’s incredibly easy to use, with a clean workflow that gets out of the way and just works. Support is excellent and responsive, which makes the experience even smoother. One of the standout aspects is that containers are treated as first class citizens. This not only makes deployment seamless but also prevents vendor lock-in, which reinforces trust in the platform. Railway combines simplicity with flexibility in a way that few others manage.

Incredible infra provider. Have moved everything from Railway, Vercel, and DO to them. Support has been incredible as well, always get an answer that solves my issue.

To be honest, Railway has completely changed the way in which I see and do hosting. At first I had a couple of different VM's with docker installed to run my containers, but now with Railway after a couple button presses I have my entire devops pipeline automated. I'm completely in love with their services, and think they price very fairly. In my opinion they could improve only in making public networking more customizable (like adding a custom WAF).
