Quizlet: Digital flashcards and online study toolsReviews of quizlet.com

The quizlet user interface is terrible. While I also hate the paywall thing I understand, they are trying to make some money, but if you're going to charge people at least make some improvements. The steps to see class progress is cumbersome. I'll be looking for something new, the User Interface is disorganized and nearly unusable.

After hours of work setting up Quizlet links to all my resources for my students they are now locked out of it unless they pay the subscription. I shall migrate everything to Wordwall where I pay my subscription and students don’t need to. Quizlet. Disgusting corporate greed.

Quizlet ruined their site and is preventing users from a basic right to learn by putting up a pay wall. Greedy CEOs have ruined the site.

Shame on this company for its greed! Broke college/highschool/middleschool students can't just sling money around on a learning app that was free in the first place!

Quizlet has been pushing the paywall features for years now, even back when I was in high school. Now, the wall has come crashing down and has cut off the "learning" and "quiz" features, the entire point of using the website in the first place. I hope the corporate suits see the negative reviews, but something tells me they'll go the way of Games Workshop or Nestle and pretend nothing is wrong.

While it was previously a very useful tool, Quizlet has since moved into the business model of "charge for everything". The Learn and Test functions, the entire point of Quizlet, are no longer free. This means that it is almost entirely useless unless you pay. This greed is ruining the study programs of millions of students at all academic levels.

What was originally a great studying tool particularly for it's learn feature has now been entirely ruined with the fact that we must be charged to learn the flashcards we have made ourselves. Most people I know who used quizlet used the learn function, and now we will all have to go elsewhere - a shame. Has ruined not only it's own reputation with this greed for money, but countless students' study regimes at different academic levels that used this as a tool to help them improve their grades. I though quizlet cared about helping students - not anymore.

Quizlet limits the amount you can study because they want you to pay for premium. I understand the need for a subscription service, but this removes options that should be free, and you can only learn a certain amount since you only get a few "rounds" for each set. Which means that if you want to study and the main resource your teacher gave you is a Quizlet, you just have to hope that the little you were able to study is enough. Repitition is key in learning and Quizlet restricts that. This is very disappointing, and students who cannot afford to spend the subscription fee must use a different study platform.
