Quizlet: Digital flashcards and online study toolsReviews of quizlet.com

The AI feature is soooo good, literally helps me with everything, but the constant ads and everything behind a paywall kind of ruins it.

Used to be good, mock tests, "learn", etc. Now? You're lucky to be able to review flashcards. "Learn" locked behind paywall, "Test" locked behind paywall. They act like they're doing you a favor for letting you learn stuff from the cards that you yourself uploaded. Used to be good. Now it's trash.

A lot of useful tools (like offline access and premium study modes) are locked unless you pay. For students already on a budget, it feels unfair to charge for basic functionality.

I just bought it and am trying to complete one set of flashcards I made for my law class. It consisted of 70 cards. It wont even let me get through it without spending more money and upgrading. Ridiculous On top of that, its not like I reached my daily limit for flashcards- I REACHED MY MONTHLY LIMIT in 20 minutes.

It is a great platform. However on paying to upgrade I realised some of the algorithms were different for the extra features. These other features simply don't work as efficiently (I know how rote-learning should work, I teach). So, I contact them and engaged with Daniella which switches to Dani after a couple of messages. Except that Dani isn't human. In other words this company is deceiving it's customers when it comes to customer service. Shame on them but also a shame because it's a good product with flaws that could be fixed if they genuinely listened to feedback. 4 stars for the product but zero for responsible company.

I sometimes find quizlet useful for revising but the platform does not work that good on mobile. When I go to flip a flash card the page just moves around instead of letting me view the answer and it does not always track my progress which can be annoying.
