Quizlet is selling out. Asking for students to pay for a plus version after studying 1/3 of the info? Why do services like these need to be greedy? I've used this years ago without any of these problems asking to buy the "premium"

gate-keeping/pay-walling education from young minds. and they still use ads for revenue. what a joke. exploiting students and students' parents to utilize a once-free system is one of the lowest things a company can do. i hope quizlet takes a hit from this.

I used to use Quizlet all the time, but now I have to pay to study flashcards that I made myself. Charging your users for flashcards they made is ridiculous. Garbage site, I'm changing to an alternative. I'd rather make paper flashcards than deal with this greedy company any longer.

You have to PAY to use the Learn function after 5 free rounds, which is the only thing people use Quizlet for. You also only get ONE free test because now you have to pay to use that too. I don't know why it changed all of a sudden. Don't use Quizlet, use Anki or whatever other site people list in the other reviews. I have created so many of my own private study sets and now I can't even study them myself. What a joke of a site.

Paywall ruined it. I used this app for about most of my revision and when I logged back on for some French vocab revision, I was greeted by a paywall to its most important and crucial functions: Learn and test. Needless to say, I'm not pleased.

Absolutely greedy and horrible company. I spent weeks building flashcard decks for my classes as a student, and now I have to pay to use the "Learn" function, which is the only tool worth using. Pulled the rug out from all of us with no warning and with no justification. Never looking to Quizlet again, try an alternative like OutLearn.
