The sound quality of the speakers could be better. Got lots of wind noise. My inner liner isn’t flush inside the helmet on the left side. The weight is good. The retractable dark visor is good.

Greta helmet (lightest I have ever owned and definitely the the most comfortable), great comms, very swift. Only gripe was the USD$165 for postage. Way more than I usually pay out of the States (I am in NZ) and the irony of the lightest helmet with maximum postage wasn't lost on me!

I bought the Spitfire for a 1200+ mile round trip and wanted to be able to communicate with my pilot vehicle as well as let customers know I was not at work while riding. I tried to find good reviews before I dropped the money, but... I got help with sizing from a phone rep. Guy was great and confident in his product. Unfortunately his guess was a bit off (mentioned I have long hair and tuck under hair sock and provided my sizing in other helmet brands) and the helmet is slightly on the tight side but will hopefully will loosen a bit with use. For my trip, sync was super easy as expected, charging was easy as expected. Visors. The clear outer visor just seemed a bit on the hazy side. I wiped down well but not with soap/water, only a soft cloth. Inside drop down tinted visor leaves much gap, so you don't really want to ride without the clear down since you get any dust, plenty of wind and possible bugs entering your face. I did like the feature to crack the visor slightly with a simple turn which I did use plenty on the trip when my visor would fog. It did say anti-fog visors but was not the case. After 1200 miles, the visors are good and I am used to the slightly different appearance as opposed to my HJC and SS. Chin Strap: Really do not like it. It was very hard for me to insert and the length of the strap is so short, you pretty much have a small strap to work with and found I had to pull on the release just to get the ratchet to go in without trouble. Took helmet off and put back on dozens of times over a few days and every single time I had trouble inserting the strap. Weight/aerodynamics/vent air circulation: Very good mostly. I had no neck stress from wearing the helmet most of 4 full days and when I turned my head there was little resistance, so was very comfortable to wear. However, I felt zero difference when I opened the four vents as opposed to closing all of them, so not sure there is good airflow. Most importantly, communications: As compared to not having sound and voice ability in previous helmets, this has the potential to be a plus, but I found it was totally impractical to think you are going to have any kind of decent conversation while riding any bike that makes louder sound than idle speed or electric bike. I like the growl of my Two Brothers exhaust, but my microphone and speakers disagree. If you simply want to listen to music, you can definitely hear the music better inside the helmet than what I hear through my Shark speakers at 60 plus mph with a full face. If you intend to make and receive phone calls, I'm going to say you will have to slow down significantly, back off the rpms, or even pull over to carry a decent conversation. I was able to hear my husband during a test call but was very hard for him to hear me with the wind and sound in the helmet, although we were able to get the job done with a brief session of repeating each other to figure the message. I tried using the voice input features and the noise was too much to make out any directions I was giving in the microphone, so I would have had to use my phone while riding to hit the keys needed to make the call, which wasn't going to happen at my speed, so was unable to use the helmet to communicate on the majority of my 1200 mile trip. My touch screen gloves do not always make simple touch tasks easy with not having consistent sensitivity, so that feature would have certainly come in handy if it was practical during normal operation. All in all, I like the helmet but it is nowhere near the helmet I would have expected for such a hefty price. I love my $100 S&S better for visor, look and feel, but to have a way to answer a call without having to pull over and turn the bike off, remove your gloves and open your visor, it may make a few instances glad I have it.

The helmet should work as advertised, but the sizing is off. By your measurements I started out with a Small, we swapped it with a Medium, it does fit better, but the cheek pads still want to completely remove my ears both goin on and coming off.

Superior service and excellent products. Fit and finish on the helmet were above expectations.

I love this helmet for it's light weight and excellent features like the emergency beacon and intergraded Bluetooth. I own 7 helmets and can say that the visor mechanic of removing a visor is the worst I have ever seen. Are to this the fact that the manual had NO instructions on how to safely remove the stock visor and replace it with the new tinted one I purchased from Quin.I would have given my Quin Umbra a 5 Star review if it were not for this poor removal and replacement system for changing the screen visors.
