The most noticeable feeling from this experience was the feeling of relief while talking with a medical expert (RN Sarah Beth) who takes seriously the medicinal value of cannabis and took me seriously. The nurse empathized with my desire to access this medicine in a legal and regulated market rather than just taking whatever is available in the “alternative” market. Since QuickMedCards is registered with my state’s department of health, the process to being formally approved for medical cannabis was incredibly straightforward. It did feel a little weird to meet with the nurse at a coffee shop and not a clinic or even an office space. However, the nurse was very clear about how the next steps would take place and sure enough everything proceeded as expected. I was registered with my states’s program in less than 48 hours!
