The Quasar team (crew, naturalists, customer service) were wonderful and made for a truly amazing trip.

Everything that Quasar said they were going to do, including setting up drivers and guides for us as we explored Quito for a couple days before leaving for Galapagos, they did. Everything was seamless and we had an incredible time in Quito. Once getting to Galapagos, the Evolution was most definitely a great choice for us - the yacht was incredible, the staff kind, courteous, friendly and fun to be with, the food was fantastic and the naturalist guides that stayed with us all week were amazing. I can't say enough about how well worth it this trip was. We traveled with our two daughters (12 and 14 years) and they loved the trip as well. I would highly recommend Quasar as a company that does what they say they are going to do - sometimes that's rare in the customer service world these days.

Booked through Quasar - Traveled to Galapagos and Machu Picchu - most obliging and helpful - will use their company again - Of course visiting the "Galapagos" on the MV Evolution and their guides (Raphael and Cristina) helped make for a memorable moment - Diane Schicke from Quasar booking office was always obliging and helpful as was Ana Maria Calderon, who was always available or would get back to you at any hour.

I was wowed by Quasar's website and immediate responsiveness to my and my wife's inquiries on their chat site but almost immediately soured - as soon as our deposit was secured, responses changed from our customer service representative at Quasar. Our Quasar representative was edgy and short with me on several occasions (I am not a frequent traveler, and certainly asked some basic questions such as did I need a visa to visit Ecuador). Also I felt pressured to accept some of the Quasar-organized mainland activities based on "safety" (we declined and had a fun and very safe mainland experience). If I could have gotten a refund and just went with another company I would have. I enjoyed our cruise a good deal but it certainly wasn't worth the premium paid. On board the ship the previously arranged (at considerable trouble) special arrangements for my 30th anniversary were forgotten - it turned out that despite having lots of email communication with our Quasar representative about my 30th anniversary and cake, etc., and also including it on my forms that were submitted, no one on the ship was told about our event or about my medical needs. Once we discovered that no one on the ship had heard ANYTHING about it we had a nice late 30th anniversary celebration and they did their best on the medical side. They were unable to accommodate my dietary requirements despite me talking with Quasar ahead of time, they told us they hadn't received any information on them. The Galapagos were amazing! I will DEFINITELY be back with my wife - but I guarantee we will NOT travel with Quasar again. I'm already starting planning my trip back and researching other operators!!

Superb company with outstanding staff, excellent ship and accommodations plus highly informed Naturalists.

Wonderful cruise with great naturalists. Felt safe the entire time. Loved the land tour especially the farm. Food on the boat was fantastic and way more varied than I was anticipating. Crew was great and was super with my 3 girls - aged 9, 9 and13. Never any rough seas. One addition I would have appreciated would have been a night with the stars - since we were so far from any light contamination - it could have been great.

Can't say enough about the staff, the ship itself, the activities ... If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the Galapagos Islands, I'd highly recommend checking out traveling with Quasar aboard its M/V Evolution yacht.

Diane and Paul value customer service...personal, authentic, complete caring for our satisfaction and pleasure for our travel experience. Galapagos cruise aboard M/Y Grace was fantastic but even more so because of Quasar and staff. Upfront with Diane, during with Ecuador ground staff and then after with Paul's attention to detail and support. We are seasoned travelers, with adventures around the world...this experience with Quasar ranks at the top. Try, enjoy Quasar for yourself. You'll see.
