Fabulous planning and execution. Yacht staff and naturalists were exceptional.
MY Grace T.
I fell on volcanic rock scraping my arm badly. The care was carefully and kindly executed. This injury curtailed my activities, but our execelent leader made sure I was included in as much as possible. Upon my arrival home, I saw my primary care MD (suggested by the 2 Quasar MDs I saw) and was told I had received the proper care and all was well. In spite of my mishap I had an enjoyable time. At 91, I regret I may have aged out of such a strenuous trip. Oh Dear.

Thank you for your review M/Y Grace Traveler! We take the safety of our passengers very seriously, and in fact, this is the number one consideration on all our cruises. From your first safety briefing and shipboard drill, to the careful instructions or guides provide on activities to things like the watchful eye of our dinghy drivers while you are snorkeling, we want to ensure that all our passengers have a trip of a lifetime and return home safe and sound. This is one reason we have a doctor and infirmary on board the Evolution. We are therefore very sorry for your injury. On the other hand we salute you for making the journey at 91 years of age, to experience the wonders of the Galapagos. Bravo! And we have to tell you that we’ve had just a few passengers who are older than you. Though you found that one is constantly active in the Galapagos, there are no strenuous activities and all the activities are aimed at getting you up close to those amazing Galapagos animals. Of course we are not yet experts on what is and is not strenuous once you reach 90, but we hope to. If it were not for your slip, it sounds like you were doing just fine out on the Islands. Though injuries do not happen often, volcanic rock is no friend to human skin as our own toes can attest. As you learned, we do have ways to make the trip easier on those who want a bit less activity. For example, we return to the yacht after every activity and no activity lasts more than 2 1/2 hours so if anyone wishes to sit an activity out, they can simply relax and enjoy the trip. Also, if a passenger is having difficulty on any outing, the guide will call for the dinghy to return the passenger to the yacht. We wish you a very speedy recovery and cannot thank you enough for coming to join us to experience the wonders of the Galapagos. Thank you, The Quasar Expeditions' Management Team

Our experience on the M/V Evolution was fantastic! It far exceeded any expectation that my spouse and I had. We have been traveling for almost a year abroad and this is one of the things that will always stand out for us. From the accommodations and boat itself, food, to exceptional service by all the crew. Our guides taught us about the history as well as explain about the animals we were seeing along the way. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you to everyone for making this a trip to remember!

The process of arranging our Galapagos cruise aboard the M/V Evolution was efficient and organized. We were kept completely informed on a timely basis. An incredible amount of background information was provided. The cruise was excellent, the crew and cruise director, Mishel, were always attentive, friendly, informative, and one step ahead of our needs. From the morning wake up music to the evening briefings for the next day's agenda, the activities were organized and never felt rushed. Food was amazing, plentiful, and of various cuisines. Dr. Ruben, the onboard doctor, was always on the spot monitoring an abrasion caused by a stumble on a trail. The naturalists, Roberto and Gustavo, provided knowledge of the geology, vegetation, birds, reptiles, and sea life that we encountered on the islands and in the sea with clarity and humor. They were invaluable in pointing out things we would have otherwise missed. Our cabin, C4, had plenty of room, was well-equipped and comfortable for a couple despite being one of the smaller ones on the C deck. The trails and landings are not difficult, but do require some agility.

If you are looking for an exceptional experience on a truly stunning boat with personalised service you must choose the Grace when exploring the Galapagos. 16 guests, 11 crew, 1 outstanding guide who is a scientist, a naturalist, an outstanding wildlife photographer and an adventurer. So many firsts for me, never sailed and never snorkeled. This was my number 1 life expedition. So grateful to the Grace's crew and Rafi our awesome guide. I truly hope to return

Quasar and it's staff were extremely helpful. During the entire trip, everything ran smoothly and was very well coordinated with the drivers, guides and all services. If you are going to the Galapagos, the ONLY way to go is on the Grace!
