Fantastic experience
Had a blast, great staff and guides. Lots of activities each day and the boat was really nice just the right number of people too. Couldn't fault it.

Highly Recommend. Staff paid great attention to all details from the cabin attendants, naturalists, Cruise Director all the way up to the Ship's Captain. Geology and Natural History of the Galapogos are well worth learning about and Quasar's SS Evolution is a great way to do it with a wide range of activities.

Top-notch in all respects. Quasar runs a very slick operation. Our boat was beautiful and luxurious, our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and provided us with a huge amount of interesting information, the wildlife abundant. This, along with experienced and personable crew who couldn't be more helpful, all made for a truly wonderful adventure.

The 7 days were wonderful Alex was a superb guide, with incredible knowledge. Meals were excellent. Michelle was an excellent hostess, and all the crew were very very good. Nellie kept our cabins really clean. We were most disappointed with the $200 per person drinks charge . Only Sauvignon Blanc , which we don't drink , Cabernet Sauvignon which we drink rarely , beer . No Chardonnay , Merlot , or mixed drinks eg Giin & Tonic which we especially Gaye drinks , which we had to purchase on top . Not explained to me and very poor value . Jimmy , our captain was excellent as previous .

Hello Gaye, thank you for taking time post your review. We are happy to hear that you had an amazing time in the Galapagos! We also hear and take your comments seriously. We initiated the prepaid drinks package at the request of our previous customers, and we are aware that we have to be clearer about what it does and does not include. In the email you received offering the package it did mention that it only included wine and beer and we are sorry that did not come through clearly. To be specific, the package includes local and imported beers and house wines and we are going to link the offer to our drinks menu so it is clear what those wines are. Our bar menu is priced similarly to many restaurants in the United States. However, in comparison to the US, we are only able to offer a more limited selection and that is largely due to the import-export policies of Ecuador, which heavily taxes imported bar items. We will continue to improve given these limits. Thank you, The Quasar Expeditions' Management Team

Our Gapalogos adventure aboard Quasar's Evolution was a great trip. The boat itself was the perfect size, with 32 passengers who quickly became friends, and the small size allowed the boat to go places larger boats couldn't go. Everyday' was active, with hiking, snorkeling, kayaking. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful and made the fun experience also a true learning experience. I strongly recommend Quasar for your trip to the Galapagos

We are a family of five (3 adult children) that was looking for an active, adventurous and educational vacation with time to relax. The cruise aboard the Evolution in and around the Galapagos Islands fulfilled our needs perfectly. The ship's cabins were excellent, food and crew top notch, and the two onboard naturalists were smart, funny and engaging. The total number of passengers at 32 makes for an intimate, personal approach on-board and allows for land excursions that are small in size when split with the two naturalists. The public spaces on the ship are sufficient to allow for small groups to form and get to know each other - especially in the 10 person hot tub and the back deck bar area! I could not have hoped for a better trip and would highly recommend Quasar, and the Evolution in particular. Swim with sharks and seals, see finches and tortoises - do this cruise.

Fabulous trip - the boat (The Grace), the guides, the crew, the food, the service and of course the islands and animals of the Galapagos. We went in with high expectations and they were far exceeded. What an incredible place.

Hands down, the Quasar Expeditions trip to the Galapagos was the best trip of my life.
