I cannot think of one thing that could be improved. The time in Quito, the Hacienda La Jimenita, the crew on the Grace and the guides were all excellent. The crew seemed more like a family caring for a large group of visitors instead of doing a job. Deborah took special care of me as I was sea sick for a couple of days. She went out of her way to make sure I had ginger tea and other remedies. The food, too, deserves a special mention. The chef was very helpful to members of our family who had dietary issues. Last but not least were our guides. We had very young children, teens and grandparents on board. All activities were arranged so everyone could participate. I can't say enough about their knowledge of the islands and the wildlife This was a trip of a lifetime and I am so glad we chose Quasar.

Travelling with Quasar expeditions on the vessel Evolution was an amazing experience we will not forget. We were a little apprehensive to be on a boat for a week in close quarters with 30 people , however the vessel and crew made this a wonderful memorable experience. It was an action packed week due to the group largely being family’s with teenagers, but this made it great fun for us with no kids of our own . The food and drinks were ist class and by the weeks end we all felt like family. I do understand some groups can be older , so it is probably sensible to check the mix of passengers so you get no surprises. Quasar were very helpful and professional in every regard

My wife and I spent a wonderful week on the M/V Evolution in May 2018. The ship had been recently renovated and it looked great. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was good sized as well. The common spaces (particularly the upstairs bar/lounge area) were big and very comfortable. There was plenty of space for all 32 passengers. The food was delicious and the staff took great pains to accommodate everyone's needs. Speaking of the staff they were superb. Great personalities and very attentive. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. The itinerary was fantastic, in particular the snorkeling. The only negative, and it obviously didn't stop us from giving this 5 stars, was that our room (C7) had a funky smell coming from the shower drain after 2-3 days at sea. After about 20 minutes in the room you didn't notice it so it wasn't real strong, but we could tell when we first walked in. I'm told that other passengers haven't complained since so they must have fixed it. The location and layout of C7 was great though. We never heard the anchor being dropped early in the AM and we didn't feel the swells that much. I'd recommend the room and certainly Quasar and the Evolution!

M/Y Grace and Qasar was an excellent way to experience the Galapagos Islands - it surpassed expectations

Could not have been better. The staterooms were comfortable and pristine, the Naturalists were both particularly excellent, and the chef could not have been nicer an more eager to please. We must have gained 5 lbs each on delicious desserts! When we had a bout of sea sickness with the rolling of the boat the first night, the captain and naturalists arranged to travel during the day and to anchor at night in calm coves. No further problems, and no fewer activities. We enjoyed every minute (except being seasick!).

The Amazing Grace! Wonderful trip to The Galapagos on The Grace this July. My husband and I booked this trip last minute with the help of Diane and Paul who expertly answered all of our questions and luckily had a cabin on the Grace over the week we wanted. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Cannot say enough about how great our naturalists were, Rafa and Walter! Their knowledge of the islands and wildlife exceeded my expectations and they went out of their way to make sure our excursions were private and personal. The crew on the boat was outstanding from Melissa and Jorge to our captain Jimmy and the Panga drivers, and the chef and baker who produced exceptional food from the very small kitchen! I cannot recommend Quasar enough.

We had our journey with Quasar expeditions on the Grace boat in the Galapagos Islands recently. The boat was almost as good as the pictures but you could see some aspects were slightly faded. Altogether though it was a very pleasant boat - we loved the intimacy versus some of the other larger boats we saw on our travels around the islands. The staff were excellent, food very good and attention to details stood out. The guides we had were willing to adjust their schedules to suit our needs and always tried to get us to the main spots before any other boats arrived to ensure we had the best views and experience. My only suggestion would be that you definitely get travel insurance if you book these tours, they are very expensive and if something goes wrong, you will find yourself in a situation where returnable monies will be very difficult to receive. All reasonable of course, but it can leave people in a very precarious situation. Overall, I would recommend the Grace, would suggest it's better for couples rather than large families or small children.The Galapagos Islands were an outstanding experience

Everything about this trip was amazing from the boat, the crew, the food, to each of the islands! The crew could not have done more for us. The guides made sure we saw absolutely everything!
