In my life this journey was the BEST. I loved every moments.

I can't say enough good about our expedition. The landscape is spectacular, the landings and zodiac cruises so much fun. The organization of everything was superb, the expedition team members were so knowledgeable and fun, the food was lovely, and so on. We would go again in a heartbeat! (And we were lucky - the Drake was a lake in one direction, and only mildly exciting coming back.)

There are only views that I can't see unless I go to Antarctica and South Georgia. I think the experiences, scenery, feelings, and encounters during the trip have all become the things of our lives. I'm really glad I went.

Excellent guides, food, lectures and ship. Beds were worn out though and need replacing.

Das Schiff, die Besatzung und die Crew sind großartig. Man vergisst alles und nur die Reise zählt. Erholung pur. Alle sind so nett und immer für einen da. Die Reiseroute ist einmalig und erst die ganzen Tiere hautnah in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum. Besonders ist auch die Anzahl der Passagiere .117 Leute. Viele Vorträge etc. und kein zum Glück typisches Kreuzfahrtschiff. Man den wirklich man ist auf einer Expedition. Was besseres gibt es kaum. Auch wenn man leider zurück muss träumt man weiter von der Reise und der Crew und allem.

We booked an Antarctic cruise with quark- penguin safari visiting South Georgia and Antarctica which we have just finished 2 days ago. It was an amazing experience and for us the trip of a lifetime. Last year we went on our first trip with quark to the arctic (Svarlbard) which was also a 5 star trip We were so impressed by them on that trip that we went with them again when we had the opportunity to visit Antarctica. Their organisation is amazing. The quark expedition leaders and guides were ultra- professional, knowledgeable, skilled and also very nice The boats we travelled on- ocean explorer and world explorer were very comfortable with the highest level of service by the staff. On the Antarctic trip you spend quite a few days at sea. There are opportunities for lectures and talks, there are indoor and outside observation decks, lounges, very comfortable cabins. On days when we were near land we would go out in zodiacs, either for cruises round the coast line or for landings. If you are at all interested make enquiries- I cannot convey in these few sentences the amazing experiences that quark provided for us.

An amazing expedition ship experience. Knowledgeable and friendly interactive staff. A ship small enough to maneuver spontaneously to view scenery and wildlife. Spacious state rooms and excellent food and wine.
