Great experience! Extremely well ran team, both hotel and expedition crew. We lost one day in Antarctica due to strike in Buenos Aires and most of the weather in Antarctica wasn’t ideal, but the team really made up for it and we didn’t feel that we missed on anything. Kudos to the team for handling everything so well and still gave us a trip of a lifetime!

Antartica is majestic and fascinating. But it truly is the Quark team that makes this expedition experience so fantastic. Smart, kind, well trained professional people at all levels of the organization make every day a new safe, exhilarating adventure. Go to the White Continent, and go with Quark. You will never forget it.

We have just left Ultramarine after an amazing 9 days. The team are exceptional and made a holiday of a life time truly amazing. We were delayed due to a strike in Argentina. Quark put us up in a lovely hotel and the Quark land team kept us fully informed. We eventually arrived on the Ultramarine 36 hours late. We had a standing ovation from the previous guests at the airport ( which was emotional and exceptional) When we arrived on the Ultramarine we had the evacuation practice and a welcome from Darren Hotel manager and Jake ( Expedition leader) immediately so we could set sail. We were then given our first meal at 1am which was delicious. Darren said at his talk that there was one person he needed to talk to, he said he would find them rather than single them out. I was surprised to be stopped by Darren on my way out of the Ambassador theatre. He wanted to reassure me that all latex gloves had been removed off the Ultramarine prior to this voyage. My health questionnaire had been read and acted upon, I have a latex allergy. He had also looked at my passport and was able to identify me without letting any other guest know. Our days were busy as the Quark Expedition team ensured that our lost day due to the Argentina strike didnt impact on our Antarctica adventure. Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. The weather was a challenge and Jake and the Captain had to work hard to plan our stops to explore. Only 2 of the 9 stops of the initial plan were used. The zodiac trips were fantastic and we were so lucky to see what Antarctica had to offer up close. The helicopter flights were all on the same day. We were lucky to have one day out of our 4 that was sunny and calm. The pilots flew for 7 hours to ensure that we all got a flight. The Quark Expedition team were all so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The ships staff were also friendly and the food was amazing. All dietary requirements were covered and nothing was too much trouble. If your looking for an Antarctica adventure I highly recommend Quark

The ENTIRE Ultramarine crew were flawless! From boarding to disembarking we did not have a hiccup. The name recognition and attention to detail was incredible. The expedition crew were PHENOMENAL! Exceeded expectations.

Everything was amazing! From the zodiac trips to following pods of orcas, to the helicopter tour, educational talks from various brilliant minds to having dietary friendly foods - only sad point is that no other holiday will come close to this experience! Huge thanks to Jake, Ryan, tansy, miko, Greg, David and all the crew members

From start to finish the experience was brilliant. The house, bar and restaurant staff were exemplary and very friendly. Expedition staff were outstanding, presentations, zodiac rides etc. Their individual knowledge and presenting skills were so engaging.

A wonderful experience managed by knowledgeable professionals! Would highly recommend Quark.

great team and lifelong unforgettable experience! ps:first,It's a pity that polar jump didn't have video record,only 1 picture; Second,not every customer on the ship has the luckiness to have pictures taken by the explore team photographer. Both issues are not the same way as other vessels' routines.
