Our new kitten is wonderful. She came to us with diarrhea and we have had to work through that. Otherwise the experience was very good.

There are very good things about this site. If you want a purebred kitten you won't find choice like this locally. Our experience with choosing and recieving our kitten via flight nanny was great, and he is gorgeous and well socialized with a wonderful personality. But he didn't have veterinary records or passport wen he arrived and because he had an upper respiratory infection those were critical. It's been a total runaround trying to get them. Supposedly the airlines lost them, but we were told numerous times they'd been recovered and would be sent the next day. All we get now is silence and we still have no records, my vet is not happy. Just be straight with your customers I have no clue why we were continually misinformed. Update: we did finally receive vet paperwork. I would upgrade to 4.5 stars only the communication problems drop this from 5. Our kitten is the absolute best!

I am very happy with my Maine coon, but it was quite a frustrating experience towards the end. I initially started browsing purebredkitties because the shelters in my area were very difficult to work with/get ahold of, and I always wanted a Maine coon. I ended up falling in love with a kitten and put in the application. The application and follow up were so easy and Kim was very friendly and helpful with how to reserve my kitty. I received weekly videos of her and Kim answered questions I had as they came up. When it was time for my cat to come home is when issues arose. I received a text that they had a flight available the next week on 04/01/2025, asked what airport I preferred, and got details about how to pick her up in the terminal. On 04/01/2025 I got a text that they had a flight available for my kitty. I was very confused and upset since we had texted the prior week about her flight. I spoke with Kim and the team member that reached out about the flight had never scheduled it. Kim had noticed while looking over things that day, which is why I was sent another available flight text. This was obviously upsetting as I had taken off work to ensure that I could pick her up as the airport is over an hour away from me and I wasn't going to have my cat that day. I also had to cancel the vet visit I set up since my cat was not going to be here until the afternoon the next day. Kim scheduled the flight for the following day while I was on the phone with her and assured me that she would send updates as she got them. She sent me paperwork to fill out but I ended up going into work since I could not get my cat and didn't look at it until later that night. I could not figure out what needed to be filled out and I didn't know if I needed to take any of the paperwork to the airport. I tried emailing, texting, and calling, but could not get ahold of Kim as she had already clocked out. The next day I tried reaching out again, but Kim does not work Wednesdays and no one in the call center could help me, I was only told that no one from Kim's team was available. At that point I was angry because I did not know if these forms would hold up my cat from being able to be released to me and no one at Purebrekitties was able to help me because Kim was off. I finally received a call from Kim just after 12:30, a couple hours before my cat was due to land at the airport, to sort out that the paperwork was not needed to pick my cat up. I am incredibly happy with the cat I received from Purebrekitties. She is such a loving and playful cat that has adapted perfectly to her new home. The samples for the vet have come back good so far and she doesn't seem to have any issues so I hope/think the first vet checkup in a couple weeks will go well too. Most of the buying experience was very smooth and easy and the issue with the flight was resolved with only a 24 hour delay from the original expected flight. Knowing now how the process works and what to expect, I will get my next Maine coon from them.

I had a disappointing experience with a separate breeder and was relieved when I found PurebredKitties. Even then though they are a LOT more expensive than usual, the adoption specialist was with me every step of the way - towards the end I was nervous and asked for my deposit back since I wasn't receiving the regular updates I was promised, and the pick up date changed the day before I was due to get my baby and I missed out on 2 weeks with her - however, they compromised and delivered her instead. The kitten I received is healthy & extremely socialized. I could not have asked for a better kitten. Her personality is amazing and I owe that to the breeder who did such a great job. It made the difficulties at the end worth it, even though I still think they should have returned my deposit given the 2-week mix up and lack of weekly updates that come with the price of adoption. Everyone should adopt from the breeder I had because he did such a good job raising her. I recommended them to a family friend who will likely adopt with them.

Can you normalize putting the age of their parents please? I want a super big Maine coon.

Hi at first, I thought, it was a scam because now a day you have to be so careful but when I started communicating it made me feel more comfortable and safer. I also like the fast response. But I think that once the person purchases' the pet they should send up dates and like pictures and video's of the kitten to see his or her progress instead of the person having to ask for it other than that everything has been good I will write my experience when I fly to pick up my baby Peter.
