PuppySpot is a great resource to find the exact breed, gender and markings of a pup you’re looking for. However, the drawback is not having communication with the breeder. It’s difficult to learn about a pups personality (if that’s important to you), when PuppySpot inquires on your behalf, as it seems the answers they receive aren’t very detailed. Another issue is time… once you purchase a pup it does take a good 2-3 weeks to get it so be prepared. I will say the delivery service was assisted by some great folks, I felt our Phoebe was likely in great hands during transport. I appreciate the pup being vet-checked, microchipped and dewormed before coming home! Also, more pics and videos (per request) would be lovely.

This is the first time I’ve ever had a puppy delivered. I was very nervous and unsure. I only gave 4 stars because I would like to have had more updates. More pictures, vet visits and current weight. She arrived happy, healthy and energetic. Our driver was amazing!! She was fed and had been taken to potty several times because she had clean fur and crate. Best experience!!!

Everyone has been really helpful. Responded quickly when had questions. We adore our puppy and she is in great health. I would recommend PuppySpot for your new fury friend.

Communication from PuppySpot during the 5 1/2 week period from the time I purchased my puppy until just a few days before she was due to travel home was nonexistent. I never received updates on my puppy, nor updated pictures. When I finally did hear from puppyspot regarding her final vet check, I was dismayed to learn a 21 week old puppy still tested positive for worms. First red flag. I asked for photos of her living conditions, because I was concerned she was being kept with many other puppies, PuppySpot rep advised me that was not something they could provide. Second red flag. I have another goldendoodle purchased from a small, local breeder. I was able to visit him many times before bringing him home. He’s 5 weeks younger than the puppy I bought from puppyspot. He’s much further advanced than she is. She is much smaller than him. She barely reached minimum weight for her age & breed. I believe She’s had little human contact before coming home because she is very skittish around people. She’s very comfortable with me now, but is still scared of others. She was given a haircut before coming home which was definitely not done by a professional. I assume the cut was done to remove matted hair as I had to cut out multiple matts that still remained on her. The matted hair I cut out was full of sawdust, wood chips, dirt when I unraveled the matts. My groomer said there’s absolutely no way to correct her haircut until her hair grows back out. My puppy was born 1/19/22 & came home 6/18/22. According to her vet records, She was positive for worms 10x from 2/2022 - 6/10/22, which leads me back to my belief that she was kept with many other puppies. The only reason this is not a one star review is that I absolutely love my puppy, despite all of the issues. I will not be a returning customer

Your service was as wonderful the second time as it was with our purchase in 2020.

I didn’t get a lot of info about my puppy. The price is very high and he is not a Goldendoodle, he is a retriever. He looks nothing like a doodle. I requested more pics but never got them. After the money was paid the communication stopped. I would not recommend buying a puppy this way to anyone. The people you talk to know nothing about the dog and could be anywhere in the US or In some other country. Lesson learned in a very expensive way. My breed should have never been advertised as a doodle.
