We'd never bought a dog from Puppyspot so we were really pleased with how well the whole process went. Great communication from their team. Our puppy is a sweetheart. We couldn't be happier!

Puppy Spot made this whole process very easy and they kept in touch to ensure everything was going well. A week later, and we can't get them to answer the phone or our email. DO NOT pay for the "starter kit". We paid for it and we still haven't received it. $188 RIP OFF!

Thank you for the positive feedback regarding your overall experience, and for the constructive criticism on our communications response time. That is definitely not up to our standards. We will be in touch today. In terms of your starter kit, we are tracking the package, it's likely an address isssue. Please know that we will deliver. And thank you for being a PuppySpot customer.

Communication was great with Linda from Ft. Lauderdale. She was very helpful. Not so great with the breeder and “puppy team”. I was told I’d speak to the breeder and would have liked to ask some questions ahead of my pups arrival. Delivery was great and smooth. I had purchased the “puppy kit” ($288) and was told my pup would arrive in her own crate. Unfortunately when she arrived I was told the crate is only included in the kit if she arrived by flight. The man that delivered her noted that this had been a problem with others and he would talk to Puppy Spot when he returned. An email came saying it was Not included in the kit, even though I was told it would be. Not the end of the world but definitely a Communication problem. Luckily I had bought a car seat or I would have had Nothing to transport my pup for the 70 mile trip. My pup is in excellent health (per her vet appointment)and had been well cared for. The breeder sent a lot of the type of food she had been eating, which was helpful. I would recommend Puppy Spot to someone as the pup arrived clean, happy and adorable.

The entire experience was great. Everyone I spoke with at PuppySpot & Premier Pet Transport was thorough with explaining how the process goes, very kind and amazing. Rosey has been comfortable and playful since we picked her up. We are in love with her. Thank you PuppySpot and Nathan T & Mark with Premier Transport for getting our girl to us safely and happy.

We purchased a golden retriever from here four months ago. The first initial call, and purchasing her was so smooth and seemed really awesome. It wasn’t until after the payment went through we didn’t hear anything about her for a month, even after repeatedly reaching out for pictures/updates. I wouldn’t have been so upset if the male who sold her to us hadn’t have ended the call with, “if you need anything else, please give me a call here’s my number”. Even after communicating my frustrations to him, he still never reached out. The first night I picked her up, she didn’t move from her bed at all. We knew it’d take time for her to warm up and be comfortable. Four months later she still is scared to death, hides in corners, doesn’t like being in a house, and is scared to death of other people. She’s so timid of cars, and walks. She whines the whole time we have to leave her at home, and chews everything in her sight if she’s left alone unattended in the home and not in her kennel, (safe space). I feel so bad for my baby, I just know we didn’t do enough research and wish we could have seen her living conditions prior to purchasing her because I %100 know she was born and raised in a barn with little contact and love from humans. I know eventually she’ll grow out of this with time, love, and effort. I just hate knowing I purchased her from what seems like a puppy mill, purposely breeding puppies to sell, and not properly caring for them. I feel as if we were able to get her at the 8 weeks, instead of having to wait until 13 weeks she might have had a better chance at warming up to others, and being properly loved and cared for. Instead they sent us a puppy that was to big to even carry, and a puppy that seemed neglected far to long.

Thank you for posting, and for the feedback. As hard as it is to hear less than positive remarks, it's critical to our ability to constantly improve our puppy adoption experience. We have heard from other customers that our communication protocol post-purchase is not good. We have assembled a cross department team to work on revamping it so that customers never feel alone or without ability to talk with one of our adoption experts. We are so sorry to hear about your puppy's nervousness. Sadly its not uncommon with certain breeds, with the disposition being passed from generation to generation. But that fact does not make dealing with it any easier. The good news is that because this is such a common condition there is a plethora of online research and recommendations to help you socialize your puppy. We encourage you to take a look and apply some of the socialization techniques other dog owners are suggesting. Another option is to hire a professional dog trainer who specializes in working with fearful puppies and dogs. Let us know if you need a recommendation. And again, we are sorry you and so many other dog owners are faced with a fearful puppy.
