The location at 1042 South Parker Road is supposed to be climate controlled yet it's the same temperature outside which is hot as hell that it is inside. When I address the issue with an employee in the office they explained that they didn't have control over it and they would send in and work order. So days went by and the issue had not been corrected so I asked an employee about it again they said the work order had been put in but nothing had came of it yet. However a day or two after that the higher-ups were there cutting off Locks and all of a sudden the temperature changed to a lot cooler temperature. As soon as they left the temperature went right back up to really hot which I had a thermometer and it was showing 90°. Now I understand that it's not going to be 60 65° in there but a reasonable temperature is something that's doesn't cause me to break out in a sweat as soon as I get up there to that floor. Now the first floor is always really cool probably about 60° and that one is never a problem with temperature. Which makes it extremely Dreadful when I have to go get anything out of storage.

Public Storage at Smokey Point in Arlington WA has a very serious RAT problem. All our items we had stored there are ruined with RAT feces. I could have just thrown them all away and saved myself thousands of dollars in storage fees. When management was told there was a problem, they did nothing but give us a corporate phone number which was called with no response. No idea the damage was that bad till we vacated and realized the damage was basic and total!

Within 2 years they have increased my rent from $260/month to $432. This is basically robbery.

This review is for Public Storage Corporate. I rented a Public Storage Unit and after I paid for it, found out it was only open for access until 6pm. (not sure if they told me and I thought it was office hours or what) I immediately cancelled that unit and rented another Public Storage unit just a few miles away that was open for access until 9pm. Public Storage refunded all but a $24 "move in" fee. I called and spoke to the District Manager who understood I had rented another unit and agreed to refund the $24. When it went up to the Los Angeles area Regional Manager, Julie, she refused to refund the $24. She also didn't call me herself and left a phone number that doesn't work. I work for a company that does about 4 residential clean outs per month across the state of California. As Director of Construction Management, I can tell you who we WON'T rent from next time we need a storage unit: Public Storage. It's not the $24 ... its the poor customer service.

BEWARE!!! Public storage is horrible! They promise pest and rodent control, but they do not...I signed a contract for a set price monthly, they have increased the price 3 times! Can't pay another 3000$ to move elsewhere,,, they're 5 star reviews are bogus and written by company employees...the BBB has hundreds of bad complaints against them..

DO NOT RENT A SPACE FROM PUBLIC STORAGE!!! The price you sign you for will be increased after 6 months by 30%! I rented a space online and after I moved my stuff in they charged me almost double what I had signed up for. Took many phone calls and emails to get them to honor the rate but then 5 months later they increased my rate by 30% A year later they increased it again by another 30%, so more than 60% in just 16 months! The on site manager and Customer service basically just said too bad. I have storage space with Extra Space storage and they also increase every year but by a LOT LESS. DO NOT BELIEVE THE ADVERTISED INTORDUCTORY RATE! YOU WILL ONLY HAVE IT FOR A FEW MONTHS AND THEY YOU'LL END UP PAYING ALMOST TWICE AS MUCH.

IT ALSO DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AS RELATED BY ME AND OTHERS, WHO HAS BEEN CHEATED OUT OF GOOD SERVICE, BY THAT COMPANY. This is what you get: MICE STAY AWAY!!! No Heat, in the storage facility High Rent: That is raised few times a year, after you've moved in. Racist, white District Manager, Byron Young. Rude staff, at the 1001 Arrow Road location, in Toronto. Public Storage employees and District Managers, target some of the customers/tenants. Give them unfair treatment. Discrimination and racist attitude from them. HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT PUBLIC STORAGE?. Stay Away!!! 1. It is a billion dollar company, made rich off you and I. 2. Customers have NO DIRECT CONTACT WITH ANYONE, ABOVE THE DISTRICT MANAGER. THAT'S AS FAR AS YOU GET WITH PUBLIC STORAGE. 3. CALL THE PUBLIC STORAGE CORPORATE OFFICE AND YOU GET A RECORDING. NO HUMAN CONTACT, WITH IT'S MANAGEMENT. 4. Public Storage, Regional Vice President, is ALWAYS MISSING IN ACTION. Not even a telephone number is available, to contact that person. 5. Public Storage, do not have a good standing, with the Better Business Bureau, or the Consumer Protection Agency. Numerous customer complaints. 6. A billion dollar company, that is bleeding the public.
