The facility on Gold Hill Road is lovely; however, it is so poorly run that we moved out. Staff is very seldom there. Only one restroom==the men's restroom on the main floor== was open and the door couldn't be locked. (They have two restrooms per floor and three floors) I kept asking why the restrooms were closed and they kept giving me the same reason for months. The reason they gave was the locks were on order, but not in. The electric outlets were covered to make them unavailable to They removed access to the Internet. It is unbelievable that they stay in business.

Locked out of storage unit by illegal storage latch
This problem has been going on since 7/25! We rented a storage unit from Public Storage at 4921 Davis Blvd, North Richland Hills, Tx 76180 and the $150 payments were paid thru automatic payment. The facility is infested with rats destroying property and leaving excrement over our things. Bought this to the attention of the office & suggested they call a Pest Extermination Service to deal with this health hazard, so far the rats are still there. We need to get our property out of storage ASAP. Arrived to find a Janis International storage door latch was placed over our storage unit and we cannot get into the unit. Robin, stated we would have to pay a locksmith $250 to remove latch otherwise we need to wait for 72 hrs when Dis. Mgr. would remove the lock. We had rented a U-Haul truck to transport our property and had a deadline to get things removed from storage & boxed. Robin office ??? (Left 5 msgs just ignored us, 817-704-2395) Dis. Mgr, Marcus Stewart 469-829-4372, (left 10 msgs all ignored) Corporate CS 800--567- 0759, 800-688-8057 Rose, & Jolie. Heidi from Escalations dept. was the most belligerent, argumentative CS rep I have ever encountered. Stated it is not their lock, even though the manufacturer Janis International have stated they have supplied these locks to Public Storage. Heidi blatantly lied about Dis Mgr returning calls these can be traced on my cell phone! Heidi Stated policy is to have Dis Mgr unlock units every thirty days, no exceptions even though they installed this illegal lock. Stated need to sign form to allow this process…no email so how do out-of-towners sign???? NO EMAIL CORPORATE POLICY! Police dept stated it’s illegal to hold your property hostage by placing illegal locks on a unit in good standing. This Company has some serious policy issues that they refuse to deal with & 2,103 BBQ complaints supports that theory. A lack of accountability is evident, within MGMT. Terrible, frustrating experience!

My motorhome was stolen from…
My motorhome was stolen from PublicStorage on Martin Way, Lacey WA. Someone bought a storage unit for $1.00 for the first month and a $29 fee. You don't even have to go directly to the office. You can even get one online at Publicstorage.com. Please look at the screenshot of their web page included with the pictures of my camper.

Then you get a personal code linked to your name (or fake name and ID), no verifying anything, including address, documents or ID. In my case, someone got the code at 3:30pm and came back 4 hours later and went back and simply drove out with my motorhome. All on camera.
When you get a the code and get through the gate gives access to the entire storage property. When my motorhome was stolen the persons got $30 a code, and went back 4 hours later and drove it right off the lot. They refused to take any responsibility. They said they do not provide any security, even though they are locked behind a security fence with cameras, and a personal code is required to enter the property. Beware of this company! Check the reviews before using them. And definitely don't store anything valuable with them! Keep an eye out for my motorhome, please.

Never Again- They raised the price…
Never Again- They raised the price every month after second month - Removed the convenience carts - AC temperature was raised - Got so hot that my electronic inventory got damaged - I asked for a smaller unit at 4:30 pm since I had no time to finish moving out on time and gave me 4 hours to transfer from second floor to third floor - according to the website they should give me 48 hours to transfer to another space - management is nasty and unhelpful- while having to deal with their lies another person was also complaining about their awful treatment- Never Again!

They lied to me about everything
They lied to me about everything: temperature controlled building, safety features, security features, everything. Too, their staff is so STUPID that almost every six months I would get a call informing me that my locking had been broken into or all my stuff had been stolen. So when I moved out I discovered that their emergency sprinkler system destroyed most of my belongings in a locker I had been paying for over ten (10) years. Don't trust you valuable with these .... con-men. You will regret it for the rest of your life. I can never replace the family pictures, family heirlooms, and the ashes of the deceased who had been also stored. Even the Pleasant Hill Police Department admitted their security is CRAP: they only have one camera that shows anything.

Impersonal, lazy and only want $
Rented a unit for nearly two years at the Walnut Hill location in Dallas,Texas. The original price was 45, then 75 now at 98, I decided it was time to move my stuff to my garage. Had a move out date of Dec. 30, 2022 and did indeed move out. Days and weeks later, I’m getting phone calls, text messages and now emails stating I have a balance due. So, I re-install the app and sure enough, there’s the original balance AND a late fee! Latest email states, I have a balance due of 98 dollars because I moved out today(1.13.23). So, they removed the late fee because SHE is just now checking bacause in actuality, I moved out on Dec.30, as I stated I would. If I moved out on 1.13.23, why would I tell the guy in the chat on 1.11.23 I moved out on 12.30.22? What they are really saying is, they are just now going to the storage unit TODAY, to check and see if my items are moved! I’m not paying a dime, not one dime to them. I sent a message thru the app that I had moved out, cleaned the unit and took my lock on Dec. 30, 2022. Public Storage is the WORSE place to rent a storage unit. You can NEVER -EVER speak to a real person and emails or inquiries thru their web page go unanswered. The only time they will contact you is to request you pay something you don’t owe. DO NOT do business with this company! As far me, I won’t pay and won’t EVER do business with them again. I will continue to dispute the charges I don’t owe.

AVOID if possible!!!
If possible, do NOT use! Constantly increasing monthly charges after initial "good deal". Currently paying 100% more in monthly fees from when we first rented. Last increase with less than 1 month's notice was an increase of $109 per month which amounted to a 35% increase. In attempting to contact the company, it took over 8 phone calls, waiting a total of over 5 hours on hold. Finally got a call back from corporate, almost a week after promised. While the lady was polite, she said that Public Storage was not willing to do anything about the excessive fees even though another Public Storage facility less than 6 miles away was offering less than half the rate I was being charged with the first month for a dollar. They count on customers not leaving because of the bother/expense to move out and into another facility.
