Public GoodsReviews of publicgoods.com

Everything they sell is pretty pricey compared to products sold in where I live, but the only thing I love is their soap. Their soap is very powerful, cleans my hand very easily with half pump amount, which made me continue buying Public Goods' soap. Their customer support is very good and quick, resolves my problems every time.

Customer service was fine — friendly and to the point. Not immediate, but within the time frame relayed by company upon inquiry. I was just disappointed that that I couldn’t get the “free” pumps sent to me free, after having made (what to me seems like) a very large (paid) order.

Five stars for Margot (a human!) and 0 stars for Alex AI (you can guess what sort of subhuman). Seriously: AI simply cannot interpret conditional questions and that companies spring that sort of nonsense on customers needing help with accessing some part of the online system is counter-productive (at best) and insulting to their customers. Were it not for Margot, I would have gone elsewhere to make purchases. Fortunately, a real human was able to identify a problem that needed real help, not stupid AI help. (Will companies learn that such systems are a waste of everyone's time??). Margot intervened with a fresh link to me that overcame the glitch in their on-line system. Kudos for sound judgment by Margot. Alex AI still gets a fat zero.

I received an order with damaged goods. When I contacted the company they responded the next day and I received my replacement within 24 hours. The customer service provided by Margot was excellent. I took away one star because of the intial deficit on the order, but would recommend this company any day!

Dhee’s service was efficient and effective, and I appreciate how quickly my problem was resolved. However, I still find it disturbing that Public Goods just suddenly “renewed” a membership I didn’t have, 5 years after my last purchase. Glad it’s resolved.

She did her job!

Communication was really efficient and I did not find it difficult to communicate. Any offers for me to continue my membership were generous and I didn't feel too pressured.

Great Experience Overall! What I'm not a fan of though is that the email for cancellation was even seemingly required, rather than just an option after logging into your account. Cancellation shouldn't require going through a Customer-Service Representative in this day-and-age IMO.
