if I could put 0 stars I would. Charged me 79$ “membership fee” that I did not sign up for. Total scam do not buy from them whatever you do. If no one buys from them they will eventually go out of business. It’s what they deserve for being horrible people

I love Ramen and wanted to try some new options. 10 bucks, and a few packs of "decent" ramen later I see a charge for 79.. SEVEN NINE on my card from this "vendor". They are stealing from anyone who gives them their credit card number. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Yup, another subscription scam dressed up like an e-commerce website. You can't sign up for an account without going through the "checkout" process, and once you check out, it's clear why: they need your credit card so that they can charge you an additional $79 two weeks after your order for a "membership fee." This is counter to how all other memberships operate: costco, sam's club, amazon prime, where you have to specifically opt in. In the case of Public Goods, you have no way to opt out. I wrote to their customer service immediately asking to cancel my order and membership as I don't want to do business with a company that treats their customers this way.

Scammer beware!!!! I ordered a $5 ramen noodles to try it out and then all the sudden bam they take $79 out of my account for some kind of membership that I have no desire for didn't ask for having never told them I wanted they are nothing but scammers avoid this company do not trust them!!! And I can see I'm not the first person they did this to now I got my card canceled right here before time to pay my bills so they've really screwed me up bad they've caused me bad bad problems!!!!

I made a purchase from Public Goods in December. Three days ago, they charged me $79 for an annual membership that I didn't request and they have not refunded me. I am only marginally satisfied with the products I purchased and in light of the extra $79 I was charged I WAY overpaid for my order. Do not order from Public Goods unless you want an overpriced membership added to your order without your consent.

Complete waste of time! After spending an hour shopping on their website, looking into ingredients and selecting the products I'd like to try, I arrived at the payment page, where a mysterious error appeared without any suggestion as to what it might be and how to solve it. Another 25 minutes of my life trying to figure it out, going back and forth to see if that might help. Additionally, the price in the cart kept on changing every time I'd go back and forth into the payment window (without me changing any items in the cart). Very dodgy approach to getting people to forget about subscription. You don't opt into it anywhere, it's just automatically added to your purchase. There is a promo (free vitamins with any purchase) without any T&C's at the top of the page to be applied at checkout.. well, of course when you apply the code, it's not available for the purchase (even though there are no T&C's to delineate what purchases it's valid for and no clarification why it doesn't apply). I wish I could claim back the two hours I spent on this terrible website and the time it took to write this review, but I feel compelled to do so to prevent others from wasting their time.
