service was great the only thing that bothered me was this unit was written up on the freight slip as weighing 159 lbs there is no way it weighted that much I am 77 yrs old and I was able to pick up the compressor side with no problem I believe 159lbs was used to inflate shipping cost with ptac pocketing the difference

Product was great, no issues but had a problem with the shipping company that never got resolved.

I bought a $1500 AC unit and paid extra for "package protection" plus $280 to ship it. The unit was delivered down the road and left in the middle of the grass on the side of the road. After a day of searching for the item and going back and forth with Bradly (who was amazing) and the freight company (who was horrible) I finally found my AC unit and had to pay my neighbor to get his tractor to move it to my property because it was on skids. I requested a refund on the shipping and package protection and was denied this by PTAC4Less because they would have no way to recoup their money. This is horrible customer service. I would return the item but then there is a 20% restocking fee. Do not do business with this company as they do not stand behind their shipping and it all falls to the buyer, even when "package protection" is purchased! Update: If you have any issues, option 2 and ask for Bradley! Bradley went above and beyond to make this right. The company did refund my shipping and package protection and gave me a 150.00 credit to spend for taking so long to do so. He is a real stand up guy and really did work hard to make this ok. I added stars thanks to him! Thank you :-)

I was very impressed at how fast the shipping was and how well the PTAC units were packaged. The condition was as described, meaning the A rated units were obviously used with touch up paint but they looked good once installed (just don't look to closely). The reason I am giving a 4 star instead of a 5 star (considered a 3 star) was because of the customer service. I needed some clarification on the specific units that were shipped out to me. I called and the person that answered was unable to answer my question. She said I would receive a call back but 5 days later I have yet to hear from them. I hope I don't have any issues... I am not confident I will be taken care of.
