I was appalled at my closing and the request for a check for $23.00 to close , as it was the laughing stock of the closing. The amount of things that needed to be provided without some logical thought was really amazing. I would not refer anyone else to Prospect and I had set up Prospect with a Realtor friend of mine for a trial mortgage run and he will do another mortgage with Prospect.

At the time of closing the revised numbers for my payoff was ignored, thus my supposed to be refund will come in after 30 days. Also my debit card was debited by over $14.00 which I did not authorize. Also as a employee I was charged $3,725 for points, where is the employee discount?

I liked Leah a lot at the start of the transaction and actually told her that I would love to refer business to her if all worked out smoothly as promised. I soon felt her word meant nothing. She could not and did not close on time. She told a third party (the buyers gift donor) to send in the buyer's deposit, without informing anyone. Escrow didn't inform me either as they obviously didn't notice, and so I had a contract that meant nothing as the person who gave the deposit didn't agree to forfeit it under certain circumstances as the buyer who was supposed to send in the deposit did. I was the one who noticed what had been done to the agreement between the buyer and seller, and I do not like being put into the position I was put in. Leah also put in writing to me that I was NOT to meet with the appraiser until all Health and Safety items had been corrected (what items?) and all termite work had been done (which wasn't scheduled until near the close of escrow). I have never in my 26 years in the Real Estate business had such a ridiculous statement put into writing by a loan rep. Leah got into my contract on many levels, and to this day, I believe, does not understand that what she did was wrong. The appraiser hired by Prospect Mortgage was a nightmare to deal with. The saving grace was Bob Boehnlein, who at least calmed my frustrations with Leah and the appraiser and we eventually closed. The end.

Never shared enough information to make it an easy process, when asked direct question we were not told the truthful response. Asked for an open communication dialogue with the lender but constantly we search for details leading to frustration. In the end everything worked out but were told our payments would be one amount, we asked if home owners insurance would be in that total and we were told yes. In reality with the expansion of the home the insurance amount actually went up quite a bit and we wern't prepared for that.
