Prospect mortgage is a reliable co. Emploies are very helpful and knowledgeable.

I am very happy with the service and felt that I was getting all of the attention that I needed. I was unhappily surprised, however, by a significant increase in the down payment required for the mortgage.

This is was our best "refi" experience; timely, efficient, and good communication all around.

The only reason I didn't give Prospect 5 stars is because of frustration with the electronic application and uploads. Loan Officer, Doug Huston, was terrific. Closing was painless and we're very pleased with the outcome. I would happily recommend Doug and Prospect to anyone buying or refinancing. As a Loan Officer myself, I always met with my customers in person--if not at application, then at closing. I've used Doug twice and have never met him. Just makes it a little too impersonal, but that's my preference.

I thought the mortgage application process went very smoothly for the most part and the fact that I knew Tim Taylor from previous loan applications helped out a lot. I found that numerous requests for additional information after the initial request was a little annoying, but I understand they need the information for loan approval.

Provided great service even when I made a mistake on an address for one of my creditors that was to be paid from my escrow account. Once I notified prospect mortgage of my mistake they promptly stopped payment on the original check and immediately sent it to the corrected address and there was no charge for this service.
