Proper cloth offers an accessible, cost-effective option for ordering shirts, particularly for bigger guys like me. I was almost floored when I saw they offered clergy collars as well. Great package for me.

The first order arrived and was a little too tight in the collar after laundering. Proper Cloth remade the shirt at no charge, and I have a beautiful, perfectly fitted, high-quality shirt.

The best custom shirt I have found on the internet. For my build and needs I like the collar selection that is available. You do need to know a little about fabrics, so do your work. You will not be dissatisfied. I found that I can not send them to my cleaners. They shrink more than laundering them at home and I buy them to fit. I have about 15 shirts I have purchased in the last year as I replace my 'off the shelf shirts.'

The fabric choices and colors are awesome. So many to choose from and that is just the beginning. You get to totally customize your shirt. Collar styles and sizes. Button colors. French or double buttons on the cuffs. Even the cut can be customized. I have an awkward body shape and can never get a good fit off the rack. Having a custom made shirt (though a bit pricier than an off the rack shirt) is really the only way to go. Plus, I made a mistake in one of my measurements and when I got my first shirt, they made a recommendation for a new size, took the bad shirt back and gave me a new shirt no questions asked and no additional charge was added.

For all of us that don't fit the Department store shape, this is you way of looking good at a good price.

Proper cloth is an excellent experience right from the beginning. I sent them one of my tailored shirts to start and they did a perfect job of replicating the cut and fit from there. Since then I've lost some weight and it's been easy to adjust the sizing down in the specific areas where my body has shrunk without throwing off the whole cut. Fabric selection, construction options are very good and the customer service is remarkable. They have turned me into a very loyal customer and they are my first choice for both smart and casual shirting.

I’ve worn these shirts for years. They fit. The construction is excellent. No complaints.
