This was an amazing course to re-learn a lot of grammatics, and on how to start a career in proofreading. There are a ton of tips and tricks for everything you need to know to start a side job or even a career in proofreading. It's content was easy to understand, the additional booklets and pdf's to teach you about how to start your business was a great added bonus, and I can't wait to start using what I've learned to start my proofreading job.

I am sixty-two years old and needed a way to generate an income for myself. English is my second language and I was unsure if I would be able to pass the final exam. My memory and concentration is not what it was 10 years ago! But the course on Proofread Anywhere is clear and concise with lots of helpful aids to ensure my success. I am looking forward to working as a freelance Proofreader, and I have Proofread Anywhere to thank for that!

There was a lot of information to process. CMOS is pure confusion at first. Research and teaching options were very helpful. Kahn Academy was a frequently mentioned extra resource and proved to be very helpful. This is a very indepth course and isn't something to race through.

I loved that I could proceed with the course and complete the work and review at my own pace.

This course was a great refresher from what I'd learned in school and taught me additional information that has allowed me to confidently gain paying clients. There are plenty of practice essays that allowed me to test my skills and determine where I'd gone wrong. I recommend this course to anyone looking to increase their proofreading abilities and gain a credential to help increase their client list.

There was lots of information to consume so it took me a few months to get through it. Your suggestion to work on all the worksheets was a good idea. I went through sets one and two several times. Just a suggestion though, I thought the essays could have been written better. Now I'm learning about hosted and non-hosted gateways, reviewing FreshBooks accounting software, and designing my website, Thank you for your support during my training.

I really liked that the General Proofreading: Theory and Practice course included "hands-on" practice exercises. Good resources for review are included also. I've taken my share of online courses and I'd say about half are just watching videos or reading. Not so with Proofread Anywhere. This course is well worth the time and money I spent on it. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to pursue proofreading as a career.
