Its a disgusting service! Basically, they stole my money.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the absolute worst testing software, company, situation—whatever you want to call it—known to humankind. Absolutely nothing worked on the day of testing. The directions on the “acceptance letter” did not match at all with the expectations revealed by the proctor. I had to try more than 10 times to log in, and each time something else was wrong with either the software or some random regulation that was written literally nowhere on the site or the directions.

They cancelled my exam at 2:30AM the same day as an exam I was supposed to show up for at 7:30AM. Unable to reach any customer service representatives, extremely not helpful, and kept referring me to a website that was broken/not working. They have a monopoly on administering tests and are one of the most horrific companies I have ever interacted with. I truly hope they go out of business.

I have never had such a terrible experience with anything like this. I hope I never have to use this again and I will now have to attend a testing site with a rescheduled test. Very difficult to get ahold of customer service and the people who monitor your test have terrible connection. If you have to use this go to a testing site because that is what my professor recommended and I should have listened but I couldn’t understand why it would be difficult to take it from home. I have no issues with zoom or Cisco or any other monitored or webcam thing only this.

Prometric is awful. They don’t schedule the virtual exams online. When you call to schedule you are transferred multiple times and end up having to waste over an hour on the phone just to get a test scheduled. When you do get the virtual exam scheduled it’s never smooth. There is always a log-in error on exam day. You have to contact tech support (30-45 minutes) only for them to tell you it’s an error on their end. When you do finally get the test started you feel stressed because of the sign on process. It’s happened multiple times, I’m starting to think it’s intentional. The virtual tests don’t even give immediate results like it would if you tested in a testing center. It takes 24-48 hours to get your results emailed to you. It has been nothing but frustration with Prometric and their customer service. I’d use anyone else at this point.

If zero stars was an option, that would have been my choice. Awful company. My son was ill on the date of the scheduled test. He had a nasty cough but was COVID-negative. We wanted him to be well on the test day and avoid scaring the other test-takers with a cough that made him sound like Chewbacca from Star Wars. Following is the chronology of what we experienced after paying the $75 rescheduling fee but hoping to avoid it a second time (since the company waives that fee for illness-related rescheduling). Then, after the website instructions proved to be hopelessly faulty/incorrect, we called back and started all over. The autoattendant requires you to endure 10-15 minutes of various disclosures and make so many menu selections that you cannot possibly multitask while you try to reach a live person. Then, you get the first gatekeeper. She gives bad information about how and where to go on the website (i.e., tabs that simply do not exist). Hang up, follow her advice. Fail because it is wrong. Call back, start over. Reach a live person in Asia (sounded like he was in a Turkish coffee shop) who put us on terminal hold (30+ minutes) and gathers info (3 pages of MD records; faxed a day earlier). After all this, transferred to a different person ("care specialist") in a different part of Asia who requires you to start all over b/c he knows nothing about the purpose of your call. Or your name. The company is a bunch of silos that do not communicate, and the customer is juggled among them. The entire exercise is structured to make you give up so that Prometric can keep your $75. Lots of other problems, but I ran out of characters trying to include those. Literally, this is a bad movie about the international outsourcing of "customer service" by companies and the result (little service; mostly obstruction by low-wage workers who do not have the authority to help). One exception: Abraham (in Malaysia) was great. He FINALLY got it right, but getting to him took more than an hour of nonsense and interference. Abraham should be running the place because he actually cared about getting it right. But since we know that won't happen, I urge you to find any other option available. Prometric is just plain awful. After all the transferring and the associated confusion, my call lasted 2 hours, 7 minutes,, and this does not include prior calls, the website misdirection fire drill, or the time spent helping Prometric locate the 3-page fax they received (confirmed) 24 hours earlier. I'm all about the global buying and selling of goods, but international service providers generally fail to deliver service. Prometric is just another example. If you have limitless patience and time, you can get from A to B, but you will have to take a day off work to get there.

Horrible experience. They closed the testing center I was supposed to take my exam at the night before the exam because it was supposed to snow. However, they failed to contact all of the testers of this change. I waited in line with about 30 others outside the locked testing center's door for over an hour. Eventually, we realized nobody is in the testing center, so we called other testing locations nearby to see what was going on. The manager told me the center is closed, but they incorrectly processed this change so none of the test takers were notified. I had to tell everyone in line to go home, as still no communication from prometric at all. Additionally, it was hardly snowing at all and the roads were completely cleared. There was no traffic and the snow was falling lightly off an on. A staff member or manager could've (and should have) easily drove to the center to check us in and let us take our exams. These exams are EXTREMELY important and stressful for us. We prepare for weeks, months ahead of time with our test date in the back of our minds. With the date quickly approaching, studying consumes more of our days leading up until the test. Rescheduling the exams were be a pain. Some people in line came from very far away to take their tests. I will most likely have to schedule my test more than a month away due to not having many openings at testing centers in the state and surrounding areas. This throws off my licensure and causes a huge dilemma in my professional life that YOU caused. Overall, this mistake was handled very poorly by prometric staff. I am extremely upset and disappointed.
