This is just horrible app. Got stuck in the message "Please wait while we secure your device for the exam" nothing happened after 15 min. Called client services no answer after 20 min. My test was at 11:30 finally I was able to contact client services at 12:30 pm just to let me know that I have to disable my firewall and delete antivirus which I did and still not working. I had to reschedule this exam that is time sensitive. Now I have to use another computer (recommendation from this client service) nothing is wrong with my pc which is new. I do not understand why companies still using this proctor is the worst.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I studied for 3 weeks to take a national exam, came to the office to take it, they used my webcam to be sure everything was perfect, and then informed me that they had a systemwide error and my test had to be cancelled. AFTER A 2 HOUR SET UP. THEN they scheduled me for the same DAY, AT 9:30 PM, and told me that I needed to check in with them at 5pm to be sure the test was going to be working at 9:30. When I came back to the office at 5pm, he said he had no idea if the 9:30 test was going to happen, but that I just needed to show up and find out...If you have ever studied for a very important, life altering test, you would begin to know how awful this is...

Whoever CARLOS HERNANDEZ is that works as a proctor for this company should be fired… I usually don’t do this kind of thing where I post a review about my experiences but this guy was VERY impatient and told me that my test was in EST when the email that was given to me said MST(I have proof) but that doesn’t matter because he’s the one approving me to take my exam!!!! Which is very frustrating because I’m trying to be as cooperative as I can be but the level of impatience of providing him information about myself and my surrounding was incredibly terrible. I’ve taken an exam with ProProctor before and they were very polite… but the moment I signed on to ProProctor this time I encountered someone that was very rude and from a foreign country. I wish this upon no one and would like something to be done about this very RUDE employee of yours. No one should be going into their exams feeling stressed like I was because of this TERRIBLE employee!!!

This place needs to be reported, it is a scam, I canceled my test within the timeline (two business days before my test appointment before 12), I didn't get my refund. when you call the phone number, the call center is in India, nice of them they may answer the phone, but guess what, during the conversation the phone goes silent (playing games). this business should not exist, whoever is here help me reported to BBB or any other organization.

They cancelled my exam, which has been scheduled months prior with no clear explanation. They mentioned to send another email in 7 business days, while my testing window almost closing. I called the number they gave me to re schedule and the service said that in their system my exam has not been cancelled yet (whaaatt). They have no idea what dates are available to schedule my exam. Such a waste of time and money (due to long distance call with endless call waiting) .

Called to reschedule. Each subsequent person gave me a new phone number to call (3 times). They only rescheduled one of my exams, then asked for more money to reschedule back to the original day because I decided against two different days. Now my exam is on two different days unless I pay to reschedule again. No one I can talk to about it.

Had a TOEFL test booked which was canceled without reason the evening before. No contact number to find out why, needed to search on their homepage and wait through and endless hotline menu until someone picked up. Alternative appointment was offered 2 1/2 months later. Completely unacceptable. Also the reason was named “local covid restrictions”. These restrictions were in place exactly the same when I booked the appointment and I also called the school where the test was located which was open.

It’s no wonder Prometric have such bad reviews. I booked a test for 45eur. The app download was flagged as having viruses so I couldn’t run it. Then, when I turned off my firewall, the app wouldn’t launch. I contacted customer support and all I got was a bot. Now, prometric are refusing to refund me the money. I sent detailed screenshots and videos of all the issues. Scam!!! Don’t ever use them.
